Hikari® Goldfish Gold® Baby Floating Pellets for Pond Fish and Younger Koi, 3.5 oz (100g)

Within 2 months of using this feed my goldfish switched colors! And they are pretty happy! If you are going to introduce this fish feed I would recommend you to slowly introduce the feed before officially feeding them this brand because every gold fish would have different reactions. I was surprised when my goldfish started to fatten up grow larger and change color which is what I was trying to go for. Over all they are happy and very active! Which is a good sign that they are healthy!

I have goldfish & koi ranging in size from 2" - 7" and they all go crazy for these! I bought these for my smaller fish, I have larger pellets for my larger fish, but they all prefer these!

AWESOME VALUE! SUPERB INGREDIENTS!! My goldies tear these up like a predator! Even though my goldies are slightly on the bigger size I prefer to feed them granules/pellets that are on the smaller size. I've lost fish in the past eating pellets that were bigger and harder to digest. These are perfect!!

The fact that it floats, no sinks, as two advantages: # I can tell if I'm overfeeding (and scoop out leftovers if I am) by seeing how much is still floating after 5 minutes of their feeding. # The fish have to come UP to feed so I get the fun of watching them up close.

This stuff is great. Makes my fish colors insane. Deep and bright colors. They seem very healthy and love it. It’s a win win. My fish are outdoors, mainly goldfish and a couple fancy goldfish/koi breeds.

Lucky me, I have a koi pond. Those of you who do this "hobby" are aware it requires advanced degrees in fish, fish diseases, water quality and chemistry, beneficial bacteria, water plants and a variety of other needed skills, most of which I never particularly wanted to learn. Not to mention, ponds can be a money pit. As Mother Nature would have it, without any intervention from me, we get koi babies almost every year. They hide from their parents for their own survival and seem to get noticeable after they reach somewhere under an inch. This food is perfect for them once they are ready to rise for it and after several generations of fish who ate algae when they were small, I'm certain that feeding this latest small school this food has accelerated their growth. Additional good news is, the price is very reasonable, which is more than I can say for most of my pond "investments". I like the Hikari brand for many reasons--quality-good customer service-good value for price-- and have tried many of the formulas for my adult fish, including color enhancers, which do make a visible difference. I know this is a lot to say about goldfish food, but sometimes even small things deserve big praise.

My Goldfish really love this. I have a 300l outdoor pond with about a dozen goldfish of different sizes and they all eat the food eagerly. I have been feeding them this for about 2 years, It floats on top of the water so makes it easier to judge how much to feed them without overfeeding.

Have previously used a different variety of this brand, but decided to purchase this when our goldfish when from orange to white! Fishes colour has returned slightly but no major change. Much prefer this type of fish food, it is nowhere near as messy as the flake kind. It also floats on the surface, so you can easily remove uneaten food instead of it contaminating the tank. Our fish loves this food & goes crazy when he's sees the bag!
