Does it have cutouts for cords on both shelves?

Hello there, Thank you for your question! This item does have cord management in the back above the shelves (left, Middle, right). I hope this information helps. Please contact us at 877-203-2917 if you have any further questions. Have a wonderful day!

Can the shelf in the middle section be removed?

Yes. You can adjust the height of all the shelves with the pegs. You build this and put it together yourself so if you dont want the shelf you dont have to put it there!
