Milky Cream Fudge 300g (Pack of 3)

So what's not to like about this Krówki? The word (pronounced KROOF kee) literally translates from Polish as "little cows." They are delightful dairy cream fudge candies, lightly crisp on the outside with a soft and gooey center that just melts in your mouth. For over sixty years the best in Polish fudge has been produced in the town of Milanówek, located near the capital city of Warsaw. This is the real deal, a true tasty treat. Smacznego!

I was expecting these cream fudge candies to be super hard like most of the other imported European candy I buy, but they were so fresh-tasting and soft! The taste was great and they were such good quality that I brought them to work to share and gifted a few of the bags for the holidays.

Fresh candy worth the money

My friends went to an international convention in Warsaw Poland and I wanted to have a lovely treat to greet them when they get back home. So happy there were 3 bags in this order. The size per bag is generous so my husband and I kept a bag to try. These are absolutely lovely. They look like caramel but are quite soft and fall apart in your mouth and melt away. Almost a cross between caramel and toffee. I love these. Not sure if they will try these in Poland but they’re gonna have two bags when they get home!

My mom used to buy these over 50 years ago at one of the main branches of Woolworth’s on 34th St in New York City. When the store permanently closed we were so sad we couldn’t get them. But with the existence of Amazon I decided to look up “Polish Candy”. I was so excited when I saw the picture of the cows. Back then the candies didn’t have the inner wrapping so the candies would get a little “crusty” with the middle still soft. Delicious! Whether “crusty” or totally soft, Yum Yum. I was holding back getting them on account of I have to be careful of sugar, but when they offered them at a special deal I couldn’t resist. I’ll have to give some away to friends and neighbors and hope they’ll also love them! (& order them!)

I had first heard about Krówka candy years ago when I was studying Polish culture. Ever since then I had been aching to try this candy. Finally, many years later, I discovered it on Amazon and ordered it. Sadly, the candy didn’t quite live up to my expectations. I was expecting it really to dazzle me, but it was just decent. It reminded me of a Sugar Daddy concerning taste, but when I put it in your mouth, the candy melted instantly, which was neat to experience. I ate a couple more and liked the candy a little more, but not enough to constantly buy it in the future. Oh well, at least I finally tried it. I heard there are other flavors. I’ll probably try them.

My favorite of all milk fudge candies. Creamy it melts in your mouth and bursting with richness. Recommend for all fudge lovers.
