What a pleasant departure from Brazilian Maté!
So I know there's the thing called terroir; where the region a crop is grown effects its flavor, aroma, and other characteristics. I know this to be true of coffee and wine, most notably, but I hadn't really thought much about regional variations in yerba maté. While Brazilian maté has a pronounced grassy, dry flavor, its Argentinian cousin is sweeter/less bitter with a smooth and silky mouth feel. The aroma is clean and almost floral, which is very pleasant and not an overpowering characteristic. It has just the right amount of caffeine, being stimulating and uplifting without the jitteriness that coffee provides with its other stimulants and alkaloids (i.e. theobromine). Don't get me wrong, I love coffee, but if you need something a little less on the rocket fuel end of stimulants, this maté is a great alternative. You can steep it 3-4 times and still get a good cup, so it's an even better value than the packaging implies. I'm putting this on my Subscribe and Save list without a doubt!

Great tea before a Workout
Tea with many benefits, read the information that’s on the container. It also gives you that extra energy you may need in the morning. I usually have to cups before heading to the gym . Once I’m ready to start my workout my body is warm up. Great buy for yr money . The freshness and the color of the tea leaves is amazing

Not bad.
Not bad. Nice presentation. This is a Brazilian Yerba like Guayaki, they taste almost identical but this one has less bark and the blend is more uniform but I don’t think that’s very important. Comes in a can that might be good for maybe 4 mates. Probably if I had to choose I’d go with Guayaki since it’s cheaper and tastes the same.

Organic pleasure
Smooth and not so bitter. But not my cup of tea- but it is what it professes to be.

Smooth tasting
Great flavor, very smooth especially the second refill of hot water in the gourd. Not as bitter as many other brands (keep in mind the first brew is always a little stronger than the second or third). Mostly clean chopped leaves no where near the amount of stems and dust you find in some brands. The can is handy for traveling because it is small and has an inside lid that helps keep the mate fresh and prevent spills. The only downside is if you pack a traditional amount into your gourd you only get about 5 servings from the can. Most of the time I simply use three heaping tablespoons and can get about three servings before I have to repack and start over.
