1 Peter 3:15 always be willing to give account of your faith.This an excellent introduction to defending the faith with an emphasis on first giving its reader a concise and greater knowledge and understanding of the Catholic faith and then some useful tips for evangelism, Christian ministry, and potential teaching.There are 9 in this series and I’m looking forward to attaining all 9.There is also bundle which I am considering.

After reveiwing 10+ apologetics studies that were available, I settled in on this series. I lead our Adult Formation classes and they had opted to cover Apologetics in the next study. This study appears to support our God as true Creator and not just one who had been merely "involved". This is an important foundation.... one that will not crumble under scrutiny. This apologetics study appears to cover all basic areas that generally come into question as part of our Catholic faith. No apologies, just the basis for why we believe what we believe. I appreciate the "Look Inside" feature tremendously as that is critical to being able to make a better-informed decision when it comes to choosing whether or not to purchase. I must admit that I pass up most all that does not allow this since I will not waste money.

I bought many copies of this workbook to use in a high school discipleship group that I co-lead. It is a great tool to spark the minds of teens and adults without being to heady and difficult to read. Its an easy read with lots of additional info in appendix and footnotes. Highly recommend.

I bought this without really knowing how the information would be presented, and I'm beyond happy to find how useful this is. I've been Catholic for about three years now, and as I continue the education of my faith I rely on this book to help simplify many of the difficult teachings. It translates much of the Bible into plain, modern english and has helped enormously.

I purchased this book mainly because of my then 12 year old Grandson's questions to me about how he should reply to his Baptist friends when they say that he as a Catholic is not a real Christian among other falsehoods! I gave him my best replies and many of them were good ones, which I realize since reading this book! I was pleasantly surprised when I saw it offered in an email and of course, purchased it immediately. After I read it, I plan to send it to my Grandson.who is now 14 1/2 years old.

Jim Burnham is one of the brightest minds in Catholic Apologetics today. He explains the Catholic faith in a sime and easy to understand way. If you're Catholic, or considering becoming Catholic, you can find no one better to teach you your faith!

This book is a great book to get started with! Hands down, this book can be for any Catholic interested in why we believe in certain Dogmas, Biblically! Everything from the Eucharist to Mary, from Purgatory to the Intercession of Saints. I recommend this book highly for Catholics and non-Catholics; anyone interested in learning about the Truth!
