Sorry I cannot answer this question, as the cross was a gift to my granddaughter.

Yes it is very lightweight. Bought it for my daughter who does not like to wear jewelry and she says it feels like she isn't even wearing a necklace. I did change the chain, since daughter likes the chain looser.

I think it's suppose to be but still turns my neck funny colors after a couple weeks.
