Review: Excellent!!! UPDATE: Still Excellent!!! - Update fourth order: Still excellent quality, even with the hotter shipping temps. A few were dead on arrival, which is always to be expected in the heat, but the over count was more than enough to make up for the loss. I will continue to order from this seller every time I need more roaches. Update: I ordered a third time Feb '24 - two orders this time. ALL arrived alive, with just one that was a little shaky on its feet so I fed that one off right away. Every other roach was healthy and plump. Once again, there was a generous overcount that would have mitigated any roaches dying in transit, so I ended up with considerably more healthy roaches than I had been expecting. I will not hesitate to order a fourth time when needed. Update: I ordered a second time and am just as happy as with the first batch of bugs. This time it was really hot where I am and there were five dead, but this is to be expected when shipping in high heat. There was obvious over count to make up for any that would die. All were in a mesh inner bag as before. High quality dubia. My go to source! I will not need to look any further for dubia - these are 100% fantastic. Healthy, large, and obvious overcount to make up for any DOA - which there was only ONE that had passed in shipping - so I still ended up with more than the order was for. The packaging is superb - roaches in a mesh bag with egg carton to climb on, carrot to eat in transit and a heat pack in the box along with packing peanuts to help keep everything stable. I am beyond happy with this purchase and will not hesitate to order again. Plus they were delivered faster than expected. Win, win, win. Highly recommended! Review: Colony reload - All of my roaches came alive and didn't have a smell. They were all a decent size and it's well worth the money spent. I get these all the time to upgrade my colony. ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B00DXLS1EK | | Age Range (Description) | Adult | | Age Range Description | Adult | | Animal Food Diet Type | Raw | | Best Sellers Rank | #73,356 in Pet Supplies ( See Top 100 in Pet Supplies ) #580 in Reptile & Amphibian Food | | Brand | Dubia roaches by Dubiacolony LLC | | Brand Name | Dubia roaches by Dubiacolony LLC | | Breed Recommendation | adult dubia male and female | | Container Type | Bag | | Customer Reviews | 4.6 out of 5 stars 450 Reviews | | Dog Breed Size | Medium | | Flavor | Dubia | | Item Form | Flake | | Manufacturer | Dubiacolony LLC | | Number of Items | 80 | | Occasion | Birthday | | Product Benefits | High nutritional value for pets | | Special Ingredients | Dubia roaches | | Specific Uses For Product | starter colonies | | Target Species | Reptile | | Unit Count | 60.0 Count | ## Product Details - **Brand:** Dubia roaches by Dubiacolony LLC - **Flavor:** Dubia - **Age Range (Description):** Adult - **Item Form:** Flake - **Specific Uses For Product:** starter colonies ## Images ![Adult Dubia Roaches 40 Females & 20 Males - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/51zWvEXm+pL.jpg) ## Questions & Answers **Q: I bought 40f 20m from here a few months ago if i bought more can they go into my existing colony or will they fight** A: as long as there is food they will just eat food, no food ,they fight and eat each other, 40 f and 20 males is a good colony ( to many males really , 10 is more then enough) .i would start a new colony with your new roaches keep the temps hi 90 and feed lots of oranges, no condensation dont let oranges or food mold and your set **Q: When I order, can I get all 60 in females?** A: Hello! I am sorry but this product is sold only with the male-to-female ratio as described, which is optimal for breeding. **Q: Dose the seller include heat packs if it is cold in customers state???** A: Heat packs are included based on a national weather map. **Q: I already have a colony, but I'm buying 4 of these to increase the nymph production. Would they produce on day 1 with those dubias?** A: When I buy adults some of them have babies in shipment and some of them are pregnant when you get them. I had about 400 babies after about five weeks of getting them delivered. That was from 40 females. That means at least 16 of them were pregnant when I got them. They probably have to get used to there new home before they start breeding. If they are happy with their new home and you keep it around 85 degrees. Yes I think they would breed with your existing colony once they get used to their new home, maybe a couple days. You won't know if they are breeding until a month or so goes by because you shouldn't disturb them other than to feed and water them. Then after all that waiting you can finally look to see how the month went. That's what I do. Usually I am quite pleased with number of babies. The new ones will get along just fine with your colony.Tim A. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent!!!
