I'm actually considering buying another one from them for my sister's place. I have dogs and hate spraying pesticides on the grass to control/kill the bugs. I live in a city but found a great tree in my backyard that gets good sun in the morning. (apparently the like warm houses. 80 degrees F or more) Great way to control the bug population naturally. Only issue I have is that i purchased the bat house for just over $27 and 3 days later the price dropped to $19. This bat house can hold up to 12 bats according to the sheet that came with it. I had considered building my own for my kids, but when it came down to it, they wanted this one when they saw it online. It was cheaper here than to buy the pieces necessary to build my own, and it came with great instructions and information about bats that my kids enjoyed reading. If no bats take home in it by the end of this month, we're going to change locations and try another spot.The house is very sturdy, looks nice, and withstood 80mph winds in a recent thunderstorm. Although it blew off the nail we have it hung on (I've now switched it to an eye hook, that was my mistake), it survived the 10 foot fall to the ground quite easily.
