I'm only 5'2", and I have narrow shoulders so straps tend to slip off easily if they are too long. And then most somewhat large purses either look comical on me or give me the appearance of carrying a diaper bag (we are well past that stage).However, as I care full-time for a young child I needed something that was large and easy to carry. I was also hoping to find something unique and somewhat environmentally-friendly. Often I carry my sundries (a little makeup, my wallet/keys), sunscreen/hand cleaner, a small first aid kit, several little activity books (love Dover for that purpose), wipes, some folded reusable bags, my iPhone, and sometimes a Boogie Board (to keep my daughter engaged on long trips), mints, and/or my Kindle (to keep me engaged during my kid's long classes). And it'd be nice to still have room for a small snack, too.On a whim, I decided to try a cotton Hobo bag. They seem to be spacious, durable, and they fit along with a person's form very nicely (solving my issues with it "looking" too big and falling off my shoulder), and they have unique looks. I liked the simpleness and colors on this bag. I also like it isn't covered with a bunch of Ohm and peace symbols (no offense to my fellow yoga- and peace-lovers). I was very pleased with the aesthetics when I received it. It is indeed colorful and unique. However, I wasn't completely sure it would fit my needs.At first, I thought it only had one pocket (on the inside). I didn't see the cell phone pocket right away. It's there! It's made from the same fabric as the handle so it blends in very nicely. It barely fits my iPhone 4s with a bulky Otterbox so it may fit larger phones if their covers/skins aren't thick. But even with the cell phone, it was very easy to lose things inside in the bag. The perfect solution was a purse organizer! Amazon sells them for $6-10, and they are wonder! They come in different colors, have handles to easily pull them out of the purse, and fit perfectly inside a larger bag like this.Now I that can find all my things, this purse is perfect! It's beautiful, the strap stays put where ever I wear it (I can do cross body or just put it on one side), and it fits all my stuff with loads of room to boot!
