No cords
The nice thing about this is you don't need a charger so there are no cords. The batteries last for months. I you want it to be rechargeable get some Lith-ion rechargeable AA batteries to go with this. I like this better than the high end models.

Great brush. It should last a long time.
Having an issue with spending an entire two minutes brushing my teeth and wanting an electric toothbrush, I began looking for an electric toothbrush with a built-in timer. I began looking into the Sonicare line of toothbrushes before stumbling upon the Oral-B rotary-style brushes. Because these brushes were a fraction of the price of a Sonicare, I was skeptical, but since it was cheap to "try it out," I went for it. I won't be buying another electric toothbrush anytime soon. The reason why I picked this toothbrush versus others is based off of what I took away from other reviewers on other products: - Price; this product is a fraction of the price compared to others. - Rotary brush head vs sonic brush head; my dentists have always recommend brushing in a circular manner versus a back-and-forth method. I have heard that sonic brush heads are much more prone to being a breeding ground for bacteria. I decided to opt for the rotary head. - Replaceable battery vs. rechargeable; most electric toothbrush batteries end up going out completely after a year or two. I didn't want to deal with having to dock my toothbrush and worrying about the impending doom regarding the charge going out, so I decided to get the AA-powered model that was cheaper. I instead am using recharegable AA batteries. - Timer; this product has a timer. It will turn on and off about 3 times after 2 minutes. I don't need different "brush modes" or anything. - Travel; Because there aren't any additional parts, taking this brush with me while I'm travelling is just as simple as carrying around a manual toothbrush. Just make sure your battery has juice before you take it with you. :) Other things to note: - The battery lasts about 30 days. - The brush is relatively loud compared to a Sonicare, but you get used to it. - The entire brush is waterproof and you can run it under the sink. I wouldn't submerge in water though. Also, you can prevent the battery seal from cracking by routinely keeping your toothbrush clean. Your saliva/toothpaste will naturally want to get within every groove of this brush. Just run the entire brush under the sink and the wipe everything down after you're done, it takes about 20 seconds. I clean the seal around the battery case every 2 weeks or so. Overall, I am very happy with this product, it keeps my mouth feeling much cleaner than it ever did with a manual brush and I see it lasting a long time. Even if it does break at some point as other reviewers are stating, it's very cheap to replace as the price suggests. I'm just curious why I didn't do this sooner.

For Kids? YES!! For Adult? NO!!!
The power of this toothbrush is not really for adults, but if you wish to get it anyway..sure why not, its cheap!! With that being said, its really for kids. The power is just no better than you brushing with your regular toothbrush by hand. I bought this to train my toddler to brush, because the more expensive and higher model is way over powering for them. I have a 1500 model and it has a sensitivity mode which I had trained my kids to brush with and this toothbrush is weaker or same as the sensitivity mode depending on the battery life. Pro: -Not strong as higher and expensive model, save cost and good for kids to use. -Good for traveling, if lost cheap to replace. -Easy to change battery, unlike higher model you can't do it so easy without taking apart and re-solder it. -For sensitive teeth -a lot of third party cheap brush will work with this and not over price! Con: -super basic, you get what you paid for, under power and only one mode setting. -Not really for adult and clean no better than using regular brush. -You need to brush 3x the amount of time to get a fresh clean feeling like the higher model that cost $50 and up. If you're a still reading this and looking for an Adult model electric toothbrush you should check out the 1500 or today's 3000 model and up which has two modes. And if you are thinking of getting Oral-B or Sonicare, skip Sonicare. I have the very first Sonicare generation that came out and had used three different generation of them. They are very well build, much better than Oral-B, battery charge faster and brush way cleaner feeling, but... they also fail after a few years of use, the last one I had only lasted 1.5 years before it became possessed (not kidding go lookup Sonicare toothbrush turns on automatically issue). I also have two Oral-B, been over ten years and still working today. Okay the battery does not last, but everything else works! Oral-B build quality is cheap today! with their rubber grip handle on them that will wear out over time then water will start leaking into them, so you have to take good care of them. My old one does not have this which why it lasted. Mostly importantly why you should get Oral-B is the way the brush works. Sonicare brush up and down that can push into your gum while Oral-B brush left and right which push away from your gum.

Go with a model with replaceable AA batteries, like THIS one
My old electric toothbrush was stopping and going. I was going to replace the battery but it's deep inside so to get to it you have to break the solder seal etc etc !?! I replace it with this model where it takes real replaceable batteries. The head spins way faster than the old toothbrush. RECOMMEND.

AMAZING little toothbrush!
Just bought this after having used conventional toothbrushes for almost 25 years and wow, what a huge improvement! My teeth feel cleaner than ever before (sounds cheesy, but its true!). Here's what I think after having used this product for just about 2 weeks: 1. The design is very simple. The battery enclosure is rubberized, stays water proof and the whole toothbrush feels sound and well made. It came with Duracell batteries which was a pleasant surprise. 2. The cleaning action is fantastic. My gums are quite sensitive but this toothbrush has really gentle bristles that don't hurt my gums at all. 3. I love the awesome 2-minute timer that lets you know that you've been brushing for 2 minutes with a slightly different 'vibration' pattern. 4. Strangely, I've been brushing my teeth 3 times a day since I got this brush! Overall, I have absolutely no complaints. I love this toothbrush and its a phenomenal buy for the price. Amazon rocks as usual. I noticed that replacement heads are a little expensive but really worth it (make sure they're from a reputable seller due to fakes on the market). I'll be sticking with the Oral-B Precision Clean line for life. UPDATE 12/14/2015: HIGHLY, HIGHLY recommend this even today. WOW, this thing is a FURIOUS little worker- it functions just like it did on day one (4 years ago!). I can't really say that about most things I own. I'm incredibly impressed by the build quality and no-hassle usage since the last 4 years. There is no sign of water damage, nor has the motor lost any speed and the 2 minute timer still works flawlessly. I have replaced heads frequently and its been using the same set of rechargeable batteries that I switched to in 2012. People just don't make stuff like this anymore. Teeth are in fantastic condition- my dentist jokes that she makes really easy $$$ off me these days. UPDATE 6/1/12: I'm nearing a year and a half of use, this toothbrush is still going strong! I'm on my third replaceable head and I've had absolutely no problems. I can't believe this product has worked so well for the price- what a value! I've switched to using the Sanyo Eneloop rechargeable batteries and I seem to be getting a lot more use (almost 2 weeks) out of a single pair of batteries than standard batteries so I highly recommend them. My teeth and gums have stayed in fantastic condition since I got this toothbrush. Now I swear by this product! UPDATE 8/18/11: After almost 6 months of use, this little guy is still going strong! I've had to replace both the batteries and head only once the whole time. Very happy with this toothbrush!

HATE timer
I actually really liked this toothbrush. I thought it had a good amount of power, cleaned my teeth great and when the batteries were new the 2 minute timer would Buzz but then the toothbrush would continue no problem. After a couple of weeks it still seemed like there was the same amount of power but the timer went weird! Instead of buzzing a couple times then continuing on it would almost stop, doing this ticking thing. I would have to turn the toothbrush off and wait a bit, then able to turn it back on and continue using it. After this kept happening I decided to change the batteries even though it didn't need it. The timer went back to working the way it did in the beginning. Again around 2 weeks later same problem! But now it doesn't even make it 2 minutes and the toothbrush stops working. I am not going to keep changing batteries because of a stupid timer! There's no need since the power of the toothbrush is great it's just the timer. Toothbrush completely stops working, even turning it off and waiting 10 seconds I might get 30 seconds of use before the timer function shuts it down. I don't feel that the 30-day return policy is fair because sometimes how can you find all this that is going wrong in 30 days?? I'm very unhappy with this waste of money!

Buy it. No regrets at all.
***Just an update: If you do not like sonic toothbrushes like me, this one is for you. Very affordable; it has a 2 min time built in; a set of 2 AA alkaline batteries last close to 2 months without the loss of speed (some technology built-in do that), but make sure you grease battery cap o-ring before you close or it will crack after some time (it happened to me); it lasts forever and it does the same job as the much more expensive Oral-B in the market. Dito. I have posted the same review for the oral-b vitality toothbrush, but it is related to the pro-health model as well. I've been brushing my teeth wih oral-b for over 10 years now, and they are all similar to the vitality model. I've always used the least expensive model since I see no difference from the expensive ones, unless you are looking for "extras", like timer, lcd screen, etc. The vitality is a very good brush. I use the round head instead of the elongated. I rather brush my teeth with oral-b than any other eletric brush on the market. The sonic kind hurts my gum and it tickles a lot as well. Oral-B entry level eletric brushes are the way to go. I can't brush my teeth with regular toothbrush anymore. Brush heads are cheaper on ebay but saty way from the cheap kind. They are knock-offs and last less than a month. The ones at walmart/amazon and such last 3 months or more. The bad thing about the vitality rechargeable and all the older oral-b I own is that you need to recharge it after 3-4 days of 2-3 daily brushings. I think this is annoying. I didn't want to leave the brush recharging after every use. So I bought the ORAL-B Pro-Health that uses two AA batteries. It is simply AMAZING. The quality is the same as the rechargeables, but it is even better. The batteries lasts forever on the pro-health. I put 2 rechargeable AA (2000 MA) and the thing kept going and going without a noticeable lack of power for a good 2 months. It is the best. The vitality rechargeable brush gets very slow after 3-4 days. Not with the pro-health. Buy the pro-health. It is the way to go if you like this kind of ORAL-B design. Another thing is ORAL-B equipment lasts forever. I only have one eletric brush where the original rechargeable battery died on me. And since they are the entry level brushes, I just buy another one of the same. No need to buy another battery. Again, go with the ORAL-B PRO-HEALTH eletric toothbrush.

Surprisingly good
I bought couple of these as replacement for Philips Sonicare - about 8 times more expensive sonic toothbrush with faulty design. One of the bad designs of Philips toothbrush is that battery is soldered into the mainboard and can't be easily changed. And it's not really waterproof or serviceable. All of these problems are gone with this cheap Oral-B toothbrush. It works ages on one charge of rechargeable batteries, it is as efficient as expensive toothbrush, and if it's going to die in a year like Philips does - it's not a big deal. However, taking into account the simplicity of design I doubt that it will break too soon. Obviously, I didn't run clinical tests with this toothbrush, but having expensive sonic toothbrush before, I can tell that teeth feel squeaky clean, just like with sonic one. Two things to mention: it's more noisy than sonic brush and trembling in mouth, but that's something I got used to easily, and it requires more time for the same result as sonic brush. Although there is a 2 minute timer, just like in all other brushes with timer, I noticed that usually it takes about 3 minutes to reach complete satisfaction with result.

Very happy
I needed to buy a new oralB toothbrush as I couldn’t buy new replacement toothbrush heads. My old one was purchased 2019 battery operated. Still worked perfectly. However am loving my new one. Smaller brush heads get into the places my dentist said I needed to work on.

¡Producto estrella!
