I’ve been using this 5% Benzoyl Peroxide gel for a little over a week now, and so far, I’m pretty happy with it. It has a smooth texture that absorbs quickly, which I appreciate because it doesn’t leave a sticky or greasy feeling. I like that it’s medical-grade and micronized, which is supposed to help it penetrate better. I’ve noticed it’s starting to reduce some of my more recent breakouts, and it seems to calm down inflammation pretty effectively. However, I haven’t been using it long enough to see how well it works on deeper or more stubborn acne. One thing to keep in mind is that benzoyl peroxide can be drying, and this gel is no exception. I’ve noticed a bit of dryness and flaking in the areas where I apply it, so moisturizing afterward is a must. It hasn’t caused any major irritation for me, but I can see it being a bit harsh if you have sensitive skin. Overall, it’s promising so far, but I’ll need a few more weeks to know if it really helps keep breakouts under control long term. For now, it seems like a solid product, especially if you’re looking for a treatment that targets both face and body acne.

I'm amazed on how quickly this product works! I wish I had it when I was younger and experiencing worse breakouts. It only takes a small amount for an overnight application and my face clears right up now. Highly recommend!

This is an ok product. I didn't notice it being in a gel. It seemed like a regular lotion to me. It also felt grainy. However, my regular BP was not available. I have not had any skin reactions to this which is always good, but I don't think it's worth the price.

Of late, for some strange reason related to nothing I can think of, I have been getting a couple of skin eruptions on my shoulders, over the past weeks. This has not happened to me for many years, so this comes as an unexpected and unappreciated occurrence. That is why I had decided to try this product. Thus far, this Benzoyl Peroxide gel has been a delight to use. As a gel, it has gone on very easily and seems to absorb into my skin almost effortlessly. Most importantly, it seems to have prevented any new eruptions and for that, I am thankful. I plan to continue using it every other day as I have been, as that has seemed to me the most effective application for my skin. For dealing with increased adult eruptions, like me, I have found benefit from this product.

I had a cosmetic procedure done about a month ago. Prior to the procedure, my skin was flawless. Apparently, the procedure can cause breakouts, and I found out the hard way. I was so frustrated with all the breakouts that were occurring on my chin. It seemed like nothing would work, until I found this product. The reviews were impressive, so I decided to try it. I'm so glad I did! I haven't used it long enough to determine if it prevents breakouts, but it did help heal my breakouts much more quickly. When I feel the soreness before the pimple even has a head, I apply the cream and it minimizes the result. The pimple doesn't form a head or it forms a tiny head really quickly. Also, the pimples that just wouldn't go away dried up quickly. This is great stuff!

This is a nice formula and did not cause any irritation when I tested on my arm. The pump works great but it's hard to dispense a small amount for smaller areas. As always, I'm careful with BP so I don't accidentally bleach clothing. The ingredient list is simple and straightforward, which I prefer in my skincare. Not sure what is causing it, but it has a strong scent that smells like baby powder to me. It lingers. I tested it on my arm and it was noticeable long after applying. I wouldn't be able to use it on my face and would have to cover it with clothing if I tried to use it on other areas of the body.

This is a cream like gel. I am not used to that as I use a foaming 10% benzoyl peroxide scrub. So as first I felt like it wasn’t cleaning my face but once I was done and my face settled from splashing this off my face looked good. It didn’t look stripped like when I use my 10% one. This definitely felt like a gentle cleanser on my face without all the harshness of stripping away the layers of protection but yet cleaning well enough to get the oils and dirt away. I was surprisingly pleased by this cleanser. I am very picky with what I use on my face and I don’t like trying new things as I have sensitive skin but this had a fresh feeling without the tightness afterwards of being too drying.
