Quiet ventilation for my printer enclosure
Put this AC Infinity muffin fan in my 3D printer enclosure about two months ago and it's been running non-stop since. I needed something to vent ABS fumes without sounding like a jet engine, and this thing is genuinely quiet - can barely hear it over the printer itself. Moves enough air that my enclosure doesn't turn into a sauna but it's not so aggressive that it messes with bed temps. The 120V AC is nice because I just wired it to a smart plug instead of dealing with DC adapters and extra cables. Been printing almost daily and it just keeps chugging along. The low speed is actually perfect for this application since you don't want crazy airflow disrupting prints. Solid choice if you need ventilation without the noise.

Great fan for my keezer build
This is a great little fan for my keezer that I built. The typcial chest freezer with wood collar (8 inch riser), as you know the temperature difference from the bottom of the freezer to the top of the freezer can be 10-15F difference. Well that's enough to have your exposed beer lines foam up. Well this fan, mounted at the top, blowing air down circulates the cold air around to keep it an even temperature. This fan is quiet, and I specially chose the low speed model as my keezer was going to be inside the house, I wanted to keep noise down. This fan pushes more than enough air per minute and it's energy draw is so little that I can run it non-stop without worry. I will highly recommend you plug this fan into a GFCI outlet or GFCI adapter outlet (adapter outlet on amazon - less than 13 bucks). Because the inside of a keezer can be humid, it's important to protect yourself. What the description doesn't tell you is that the power cord is removable. That is a huge bonus! It plugs right into the fan. Note, the diameter of the plug is approximately 9/16" but I needed a 7/8" hole to fit the plug (not ac part) through the keezer wall. A piece of cork plugged the hole with the wire passing through it. Overall the fan is solid, looks nice and comes all the bolts, nuts, rubber washers and good documentation. I would highly recommend this fan if you're looking for a fan that is AC powered.

COOLING OUR DISH SATELLITE SYSTEM
Brought the temperature down in our DISH Hopper cabinet 10 to 18 degrees. System seems to be running better! The fan is very small and very quiet.

A good fan and a good value
I bought this fan because I have a Dynaco vacuum tube preamp that I just love to listen music through and it has a tendency to get real hot because I have it inside of cabinet with very little air circulating around it. One time it shut down and I am pretty sure it was do to the heat. I bought this fan to cool off the chassis. My first issue was whether or not to put the fan grill on or leave it bare. After a couple times of sticking my finger into the fan (which does not hurt the fingers but will eventually damage the propeller) I put the grill on. However the bolts are bit long and stick through the other side so I had to cut them with bolt cutters and then file them and it was a hassle - but I did it. Then I had to figure out the best place to put the fan. I put it on top of the unit and that worked well to cool it, but the noise was a little audible and so I just placed it behind the preamp, blowing the air out the back of the cabinet. That seems to work very well and the fan noise is barely audible to these 60 year old ears. Overall, this is a good fan. A smaller and quieter one would have been nice, but those often don't come with a built-in 120 volt plug. They require a separate 12 volt source which I did not want to hassle with.

Extremely happy with this product.
It is doing its job after 7 months of use far. It is a working fan and makes some noise but it is too disruptive because it shuts off in reasonable time after removing the heat from the chassis. In its current configuration, it is attached to a temperature controller.

Excellent for my mac mini
As you can see, I'm using it to blow a gentle breeze onto my mini (note that the air flow is down onto the mini). I used 4, 1" round chair leg felt pads (left the paper on the adhesive side), cut a small dimple in the center of the pad on the paper side and forced the fan screws onto the adhesive. The low speed of this fan is just enough to cool the case and the air is deflected 360 degrees all around it. As a bonus some air reaches me as well. As far as I can tell, this low volume of airflow is not adversely effecting the mini's fan performance in any way. I used the 120 volt option, so I could use the fan for my PS4 or elsewhere if I needed to. Fan is virtually noiseless and seems to be very well constructed, and the guards are easily attached as is the 120 volt cord.

Solved my overheating A/V receiver problem
I have a Denon AVR3300 A/V receiver that developed a high pitch squeal after being used for over an hour or so. I took it apart a few years ago and determined that it is caused by the bearing in a small computer type fan which blows onto the power supply. I'm not able to repair it though, because I'd have to remove too many circuit boards and de-solder things so I just lived with it. Recently I saw this fan here on Amazon and decided to purchase it and see if it would help. It was delivered today and I simply placed it on top of the receiver over the vents and directed the airflow down into the guts of the receiver. I plugged it into one of the switched outlets on the back of the receiver so it turns on and off with the receiver itself. I turned it on and watched a movie and then about an hour of TV. Normally after about an hour, you can start hearing a really annoying, constant squealing sound from the bearing. After running the receiver with this fan in place, the squealing is no more. I only wish I bought this fan a lot sooner.

exact size and item in picture, a good replacement. high quality and works great,.
bought the fan to replace a unit on a very expensive specialized machine for cutting automotive and high security keys. most other fans had the wrong hole configuration or measurement, and a computer case fan is 12V ac which would require a bridge and voltage regulator or an additional power supply. this unit came very quickly and was a direct swap, took me 5 mins to install and is low enough speed to run continuously or not be excessively loud but fast enough to adequately cool the workhorse machine it resides in. looked very high quality, was sent exactly the product in the picture, and it was the size described in link. very happy with the product. may buy another for a different model machine that takes the same fan or to have as a spare. very happy with purchase.
