Pantene Curl Mousse For Curly Hair, Tames Frizz for Soft Touchable Curls, 6.6 Oz Each (Pack of 3)

This used to be a good product, one of my favorites. But they changed the formula, and the results are horrible. It used to tame and control curls and make them look beautiful. Now it only creates frizz and bulk. I’m so disappointed in this product and will no longer buy it. I’ll give it zero stars.

I've used Pantene Curl Defining Mousse over 2 decades. It's literally the only mousse that has worked and given me soft defined curls.I recently opened a bottle that I ordered off Amazon and noticed that the mousse was more runny. I thought it was odd but didn't give it much thought. I have now been dealing with an itchy scalp and hives for the past two weeks. I couldn't figure out what could be going on until I checked the ingredients on the new bottle and compared them to an older bottle that I had in my cabinet (Can with pink- old formula, Can with no strip- new formula). They're different and I'm pretty sure I'm having an allergic reaction to the change. The formula still holds my curls but not as well. I'm noticing more frizz.I started checking reviews here on Amazon and on Target and saw other people noticing the difference in formula. I also read a review where someone else is having the same allergic reaction as myself. I've messaged Pantene about my concerns and would encourage others to do the same if you're having issues with this current formula.

I'm really upset. I've been buying this mousse since I was in my young teens (now 30). I've tried so many different products through the years. Some we're good as controlling the frizz and holding the curl but they would dry my hair out something terrible 😔. This mousse was the only one of it's kind that would hold my curls in without frizz and still keep my curls soft at the same time, and also would not dry out my hair. It also had a very pleasant scent.The packaging isn't the only thing that has changed, their formula must have as well. It doesn't hold my curls as well and I'm noticing a lot more frizz. The scent is somewhat different, less strong, but still pleasant. The foam is a lot more liquid-y. I'm really sad 😢! I've tried hundreds of different products throughout the years and none has seem to work quite as good as this one has for me. Please Pantene, please please bring back the old formula 🥺🙏
