Its designed for engines with no catalytic converter in the exhaust (pre-1977 cars/trucks) and race engines. This product is also used as an engine "break-in" additive for newly built engines. For non-race applications, one bottle will usually treat two oil changes. Some race-engine applications require the entire bottle.
