Sturdy, Reliable, and Worth Buying Again
This is actually my second time purchasing this phone holder because I liked the first one so much. I now have one in each of my cars, and itโs been a great investment. My husband and I have different-sized phones (I have an iPhone 13 Pro Max and he has an iPhone 13), and the holder adjusts easily to fit both without any issues.Installation was quick and simple, and itโs very easy to use every day. I love having my phone securely mounted while driving instead of holding it or trying to glance down at directions. The mount feels very sturdy, and the one Iโve had in my other car has been in use for over a year without losing suction or giving me any problems.Pros:* Very sturdy and durable.* Easy to install and reposition.* Fits different phone sizes securely.* Strong suction that lasts.* Makes using GPS much safer and more convenient.* Great valueโI liked it enough to buy a second one.Cons:* I wish it came with an alcohol wipe or small cleaning cloth. Cleaning the dashboard or windshield before installation helps the suction stick much better, especially if thereโs dust or oil on the surface. Including one would make the installation process even easierOverall, Iโm very happy with this purchase and would definitely recommend it. Itโs one of those simple accessories that makes driving more convenient and keeps your phone secure while youโre on the road

Sturdy and reliable
I do delivery driving, this has been great. It doesn't move, stays in place. And I love there are 2 ways to secure it in your car

A VERY sturdy phone holder
This thing is sturdy! The streets of northern NJ are riddled with potholes and uneven pavement, and my phone does not move at all. My last phone holder would fall off the windshield, or my phone would fall out of the holder; thats how bad it is. This phone holder doesn't budge, and Im grateful for that.I like the adjustments; I can bring it closer, angle the whole arm up or down, or I can just adjust the part that holds the phone. It's is somewhat large, but I have a large windshield so its not in the way. You can also attached it to the dash. You can also adjust it quickly, but pull over to do it because you do need two hands (each moving part tightens down so its tough to do with one hand...maybe impossible)Just know that it is TOUGH to remove the suction cup, so make sure you put it where you want it to live...unless you want to take the time to wrestle around with it. Other than that, I think you'll be very satisfied should you choose to get it.

Overall a good product
Overall I would say this is a good car mount. There are a lot of nice features, although there is one glaring issue that prevents me from giving this a 5 star rating. My last phone mount was great until the spring holding the suction mount broke. That left me looking for a viable replacement. My criteria was:1. It had to offer solid dash mounting on a rough dash surface.2. It had to be easy to insert and remove the phone3. It had to be fully adjustable so as not to block my field of view.4. It could not block or interfere with any of the phone features such as charging port, volume or power switches. This mount met 3 out of the 4 criteria perfectly. As far as mounting and mounting options, this mount is stellar. It comes with both a suction mount and a vent mount, both of which work extremely well. The suction mount comes with a round pad that you can use if you are mounting on rough or textured surfaces. The pad glues onto the surface, and the suction then mounts onto the pad. Fortunately even though my dash is a rough surface, the suction alone was enough to hold the mount in place very solidly. The vent mount has a nice locking feature that keeps the mount held in place on your vent slots. Overall I would give the mounting system a 5 out of 5.Inserting the phone was really simple. There is a small protruding "ledge" at the bottom which supports your phone, and allows you to balance the phone on the ledge while you adjust the side arms. The arms lock into place and hold the phone very securely. The arms are also padded so they will not mar your phone. There is a small amount of overlap onto the side of the screen, so depending on the apps you use, this could create a problem. If you routinely need to access the side edges of your phone's screen, this could be frustrating. Inserting the phone with one hand receives a 5 out of 5 star rating.Retrieving the phone was were I have the biggest issue with this phone. For most people this might not be an issue at all. Due to the contours of my dash the only place I have to mount the phone is just right of the steering wheel on the dashboard. For visibility, this is fine and I actually like the location as it provides for easy one handed access to the phone without me having to venture too far from the steering wheel. The problem is that the release tab is on the left hand side of the mount which means I need to reach behind the steering wheel in order to hit the release switch. It forces me to contort my wrist in a way that most human wrists do not bend. I'm forced to hold the phone with my right hand and use my left hand to reach behind the steering wheel to release the locking tab. Most other phone mounts that I have used have either release tabs on both sides of the mount, or a release tab on the back of the mount. Releasing the phone gets a 1 out of 5 stars.Adjustability on this mount was also great. The mounting arm can move up and down, in and out, and the mounting ball allows for full rotation of the phone. This system allows you to adjust the phone to almost any possible position. Movement was a bit stiff, but that is what you want so it doesn't start sagging on you. The position of the lock wheels and adjustment screws was a little difficult to reach, but really you should only need to adjust it once or twice. I've seen better locking mechanisms on other mounts, but this one is plenty good. Overall I would give adjustability a 4 out of 5 stars. The overall design was well thought out. With the exception of the release tab, everything fits just right. I'm using a rather large phone (oneplus 8t), but I also tested with smaller phones like the essential phone, and it just works great. Nothing is blocked and you have full access to everything you need. I will say if your phone has a bottom mounted headphone jack there could be access issues for that. The little ledge does cover a good portion of the left and right sides of the bottom of the phone. Top mounted headphone jacks of course will have no issues. Also the opening at the bottom should be large enough for most USB plugs and dongles. So to reiterate my initial comments, this is an excellent mount. If it wasn't for the poor placement of the release tab, I would give it 5 stars. If you mount you phone more towards the center of your dash, or if you are just going for the vent mount, this will not be an issue at all for you. Also if you have a bottom mounted headphone jack that you need to utilize, you may want to look elsewhere.

Works as it's intended
I've been using it for 4 months now, in the intense Florida heat, might I add. I currently do not have a garage so my car sits out every day. I've actually moved the position of this mount on my windshield multiple times and it still has not fallen off on its own yet. The latch keeps it firmly attached to the glass and in position. My Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra phone, even in it's thick case, can sit in the holder without falling out. It does seem to hold it tighter without the case on and I do take the case off on long car trips, but for short trips around town, it's fine to stay in the case. My charging cord reaches it with no problem and stays connected with no issues. It's great that it moves in all directions so you can position it in whatever way works best for you. I definitely recommend.

Military grade suction
Super suction and easy load and unload of phone. Bought it for a trip and previous one kept losing suction. This is military grade and I was hopeful. Itโs still sticking and very easy to use. Highly recommend.

It works OK
Mounted this and it seems the mount disk is sticking, at least so far. Already had the suction cup system let go once. It seems the phone holder part will have to have the bottom support setting on the outer edge of the dash or jouncing/bouncing that occurs while driving will eventually break the suction and dis-lodge the mount. Happened to me just driving around town the 2nd day I had it.I do have to say it is winter here with temps in the high 20 and low 30 range so the suction cup may be slightly hindered by that because it is much less flexible so less able to stick like it should. Now I have this setup with the bottom of the phone holder part resting on the outer dash pad for stabilization and it works ok, as in, seems to stay stuck if setup like that.Note to manufacturer for future updates, ideally I would like to see this unit have a larger mount that when stick down to the dash pad, would have a mechanical means of mounting the arm/phone holder, NOT a suction cup that can, and does some times come lose.Over all quality of this mount is just OK. I had another unit that was a window suction mount with similar style phone holder. The phone holder part on that last one seemed much better made. The window suction cup failed and it was some kind of semi liquid silicon that once failed it would not re-mount.Looking for the perfect phone holder for your car? The Andobil Car Phone Mount likely is not it. The suction cup unit is a point of failure, it is only a matter of time before it lets go, specially if you don't adjust it so the phone holder part rest on the edge of your dash for stabilization like I had to do.I imagine later if this unit's suction cup continues to un-stick and fall off, I'll build my own custom made phone mount using a large aluminum pad, something like 4 x 6 x 1/4 inches with a high grade sticker like this andobil unit has, only larger 4x6 size. Then I will probably use a 8" or 12" heavy duty microphone flex neck that screws down. Next I'll attach the ball mount and phone holder from this unit or my older one I still have and then it might stay put and work as expected, but even with that setup I'll probably need to rest the bottom of the phone mount on the dash edge for stabilization. The big upgrade there will be the elimination of the unnecessary and prone to failure suction cup system. Suction cups eventually lose suction and let go, they just do.
