Works Very Well - In My 2004 Dodge Stratus
Similar 4 Cylinder Engine used in PT Cruiser and many other models. A very common engine. The water spurting out the exhaust pipe went away. Some of that is normal due to condensation, however have not seen any of that in a while now. The engine sounds better. Runs smooth. No sputtering sounds like before. Engine accelerates better. So far no oil leaks at all on the garage floor.

Seems to work on small or minor oil leaks
Despite being skeptical on magical cure-alls I decided to give this a go. I had already sent the vehicle to the shop at least two times, and the vehicle was still losing oil. The loss was somewhat slow, after driving and letting it sit there would be about a half-dollar sized oil spot. I haven't had to add oil (yet) after a few months since the repairs on other old seals, but it was headed that direction again as the reservoir had fallen to about 50% of the hashed area on the dipstick in that time. I used a bottle of this Bars Stop Leak Concentrate, and almost immediately I noticed how much smoother and quieter the engine seemed to run, as in right after I added it and went about the rest of the day. It sounded different, but different in a good way. The first day, I noticed a significant improvement in the rate of oil loss. I literally had to get down and look at the driveway to spot the few drops of oil lost that dripped on a piece of gravel. By day two, I was not able to find the wet spot at all after combing through gravel so I stuck a piece of cardboard under the front and left it. Next day, I pulled it out. Bone dry. Not a drop of oil lost. I'm very impressed and satisfied with what this bottle did. We'll see how long it lasts, but it seems to have did exactly what it was supposed to do. But that having been said, my leak was most likely a very small one. This might not work on a larger leak with a lot of oil being lost.

Where's all the engine butter gone?
Used this because of a nasty oil leak I had from the timing cover gasket in my 2000 Mitsubishi Galant. The shops wanted $600-$700 to fix, which is roughly the value of the car at this point (has a couple other issues). After changing the oil the leak got worse and I decided to give this a try as a last resort. It quickly worked to reduce the leak to a slow drip, instead of a steady trickle when the engine was hot & running. I've driven about 500 city miles with this stuff; the instructions say drive 300 miles and add another bottle if necessary. I'm going to add another one and see what happens! Bottom line - it makes sense to try Bar's Leaks if your old clunker has a leak that isn't worth the cost of repair. I did have to spend $150 for a new serpentine belt because the leak had saturated it with oil and it began to fray. I'll be happy if I can go at least another few months before I have to get a new car. Keep in mind this product is no substitute for a repair.

Did not work for me.
This product has been around for ages so it must work to some level. Possibly on a smaller leak than I had

Seems to work great
Put the entire bottle in after an oil change and appears to have stopped a pesky oil leak I have been dealing with.

Stops oil leaks
I added Bars Oil additive to a new oil change in my 2002 3.6 L Pontiac Montana .. they said the product would stop leaks after 200 miles.. I have driven about 90 miles and the NO OIL is on the garage floor .. extremely pleased with this product. I intend to add it with every oil change to keep the seals from leaking in the future.
