A note came home less than three weeks before the field trip with specific instructions from her teacher stating that the children must dress appropriate to the colonial time period. Where on earth could I get a dress in the right size and style so quickly when we were leaving town for spring break in just 3 days?!?? AMAZON, that's where!!! Because the color (pink) we chose was eligible for Prime shipping, the dress was on our front doorstep before we left for vacation. Sizing when ordering online is always iffy, but I took a chance based on other reviews and ordered the exact size (10) my daughter usually wears, and the fit was absolutely perfect! It was a bit more expensive than some of the other (synthetic fabric) dresses, but this dress is of excellent quality and because it is 100% cotton she should stay comfortable even if the weather becomes a bit warm. Best of all, the dress is absolutely adorable, and my daughter fell in love with it the second she put it on.
