Unfortunately I found a wide variation in the temperature readouts. I tested them against a kitchen instant read thermometer. All three displayed different temperatures. Sometimes several degrees off. So if you buy one, check it against other thermometers.Shortly after writing the above paragraph the first Little T &T died. The second one has performed sporadically, often changing the temperature being displayed every time you push the light button. Sometimes it does not work at all..recently it stopped for a few days. The first one bought years ago worked reliably and was accurate until water spilled in it and fried it. The replacement was bought in December 2015 and never worked correctly. This left me with zero confidence in using the device in my aquarium. I will not be purchasing a third.Based on my aforementioned experience with two of these, I believe the people reporting accuracy and inaccuracy are all correct in their relative experience. There's likely a factory quality control issue that makes it pot luck whether you'll get a good one or not.
