PelicanStorm Cases IM3100 Storm Gun Case, Black

At first I purchased Pelicans new “Vault” line case. But after getting it, it seemed less durable and didn’t have wheels on the bottom, I tried to save a few bucks but this was a long term investment and I knew I’d regret it sooner or later.This Storm case is much more durable. Seems more solid, better lock up, definitely s bit heavier and has wheels.This case is what Pelican is all about.Very happy I went with this line and case from Pelican. It’s a perfect form and function for my needs.

I own a few pelican cases already and love the ones I have. Bought this one and have to return it because the foam cutouts are not cut properly for what is supposed to go in there. You cannot fit 1 mag for an AR15 or M4 or M16 let alone 18. They are not cut properly. Not sure if it's a defective case from pelican sold cheaper but I will be calling to find out. Will try and post the info I get from pelican. Pelican has been doing business with all the armed forces for a very long time so I am finding it very hard to believe that these cases being sold on amazon weren't bought cheaper because of several very bad cuts in the foam for the AR15 platform including the mag cutouts that you cannot put a single magazine in. I used 4 different brands of mags and the cutouts are way to small. You can see it as soon as you open the case. I am in need of 1 but would not spend 50 bucks on this case let alone 260 to not fit anything properly. I hope this helps anyone who is looking for a case like this. Send an email to the seller and ask why people are posting problems with the foam. The case is absolutely pelican and the best of the best but I need the cutouts with the case. There are other companies that sell pelican, casecruzer, guncruzer cases with custom foam cutouts for a bit more but you will probably get what you want the first time(hopefully). Love the case, but the foam insert is not what I had hoped. The foam is very tough and the cut out is too low in the case, so I can't put my rifle away with a 30 round magazine in it. It won't fit. Plus, the magazine cut outs are not big enough. Will be looking for a new foam insert.

Nice case, pre cut for a 16" AR-15 Carbine. Just pluck out foam sections as needed. Case closes and locks very nicely

The foam in the case is not what was displayed in the picture. M4 profile not cut correctly in foam, and the M9 cutout left the pistol handle hitting the rifle barrel if you could actually get them to fit. The pistol may have fit if it was cut in the foam on the left side of the case, but it was not. The mag cutouts were a joke. Very unhappy with this item and returned it to amazon!

I have lots of pelican gear and love it, but this case really is top notch! Cutouts worked perfectly for my AR15 Carbine and associated gear.

Fits perfect. I can store all my AR-15 componets in one place.
