I was a bit dubious about buying this brand after reading some of the negative reviews but the positive reviews echoed what we were looking for in an insulated mug so we jumped in and bought 2.We run B&B and like to have a tea/coffee whilst making breakfast for 12 guests over a 1-2 hour period, cleaning up afterwarxs and cleaning the rooms but the majority of the time we ended up throwing most if not all of the drink away as it had gone cold whilst we worked. We even got to the point of saying "do, you want a tea or shall I just throw it straight down the drain". We have not had our two mugs for a fortnight and cold tes/coffee is a rapidly fading memory as without the lid on the drinks will stay hot for 1-1.5 hours or pre heat the mug and put the lid on and it is still drinkable after 3 hours! Granted we do not commute with them, have them in a car or walk the dog on a winters day but for us they are perfect. We even had a conversation about them potentially being green the other day as we boil less water, use less coffee and throw away less tea bags.To the people who say they go cold to quick, warm them up first like you do with any thermal bottle or mug. To the one/s that say they leak, try harder, they do not leak if you put the lid on properly.All in 100% satisfied so far although I doubt if the exterior will look as good after 6 months of washing and being bashed around but hey ho.

Have tried lots of different cups without much success. This is a really great cup - have recommended to few people and they think the same.Use mostly for hot drink and as I am quite a slow drinker who likes my drink piping hot, this cup is great as it keeps my drink hot for ages, until I finish the drink. Generally more than the two hour after pouring. (I'm slow, but not that slow - straight from kettle, the drink is too hot to drink at the beginning, even for me!)To the point made by other reviewers about drink spillage - I find this only happens when I haven't closed properly. If there is resistance when trying to close, it is not properly aligned, will not close properly & drink will spill.I happily toss in my bag and have had no problems with spillage. Carry handle is fantastic on crowded train - seen many spillages but definitely none caused by me!Haven't given 5 stars for two reasons:- cup permanently smells of coffee despite much washing and soaking, so not keen to use for cold drinks as well. I did try once and can confirm it keeps drinks cold for even longer, especially when you have ice in cup.- lid started to look a bit faded, which is a bit strange as hadn't used for that long.Despite that, if I had to start again I would definitely buy this mug again, especially as I think you can buy spare lid, which I intend to do.

I've had this mug for over a week now and absolutely love it. It's double wall magically keeps the contents warm while the outside actually feels cold, which is great for warm offices during the summer. I've had other mugs in the past that claim to keep the contents warm and indeed do, but while burning your hands on the outside. This metallic mug has none of those issues.Some negatives though: when filling the mug with boiling water and then sealing it for transport, when you re-open the small drinking hole it'll shoot hot steam up in the air, so watch out for that. I'm sure other mugs have the same issues, indeed my camping thermos does, but the design of the lid forces the steam out in a particular direction so makes it a bit more dangerous. The internal lid screw isn't too long, which is great for quickly sealing the mug but also gives the user a false sense of security as to whether the mug is sealed, so make sure the lid is on properly before moving.Other than that it's a great mug. Would happily buy again!Summary:Pros: keeps contents hot while the mug's outside is cold, fully watertight when the lid is closed.Cons: spews steam at you if you close the spout, lid can be tricky to screw on properly.Recommend/buy again? Absolutely.

Where to start ? .... This is an absolutely brilliant cup . I now have four! This cup keeps your drink hot ..not just warm , but proper piping hot for a good 2-3 hours. The outer is a painted steel , which is tactile and pleasant to hold. The outside of the cup does not get hot or even warm ..if you are wanting a cup to warm your hands on ..this is not the one to buy ,,if you like your tea and coffee hot it is.I love the little carry handle, you can hang it off a finger when you are loaded up with bags and and whatever..I have even held it between my teeth when juggling bags, laptops and folder whilst trying to swipe my pass card going into work !The other thing that makes it a real game changer is the lid and the stopper for the wee hole you drink out of. When the stopper is closed there is no leakage at all , you can literally turn it upside down and not a drop leaks out. The drinking hole is mouth shaped ..it has an indent for your bottom lip so the drink goes in your mouth and and doesn't do that annoying and embarrassing dribble down the front of your clothesIt looks great too ...people admire your cup it looks like a good quality cup.One last plus ..it fits under most coffee machine spouts on vending machines so a pretty stylish substitute for the paper /plastic ones which are are the new reduction of single use plastic target!All in all ..a really good cup... I like it a lot.
