Bell Powersports Pit Boss Gloss Black X-Small/Small

I have high-end full-face helmets and bought one of these in size XL for myself last year. My wife doesn't ride with me often, but recently asked for a half-shell for comfort. I measured her head using Bell's guidelines and had to flip a coin, as her head size was covered on their size chart at the lower end of the "Medium" scale and the upper end of the "Small" scale. I took a chance and bought her the small. It fit her perfectly. I like that the rear band adjusts for a snug fit. With mine, I can't use the drop-down sunglasses because I wear prescription glasses and they don't clear. The neck/ear cover zips in and out easily and I do use it in colder riding conditions. Mine initially irritated my head on both sides right over the back sides of my ears. (I must have a bony head) I found the spots and compressed the EPS with my thumbs in those two areas and now have all-day comfort.

I currently have an "extremely safe" HJC full face helmet that fits like crap and makes my face hurt after awhile (but has room to slide forward and back). I also had another open face that made anyone wearing it look like Toadstool from Mario. So it was time to helmet hunt. So glad I found this one! This helmet is true to all the other reviews. I measured my head then got one size bigger, and it fits nicely. The cinch feature on the back is wonderful, makes for a really custom fit, and prevents wind movement, at least while cruising on my rebel at a whopping 35mph! The drop down shades are a nice feature, but tuck up completely so if you want to rock your own aviators, you can. I haven't tried the ear pads, but they are super easy to remove or put back in, (one zipper, 2 snaps), so once it starts getting chillier they'll be good to have. The color and shape are totally as expected. Packaging was nice, with a protective white bag to prevent scratches inside of a sharp red Bell helmet bag. Finally a helmet that fits!

Runs small. I ordered a size up and it is very snug but will break in. Has band adjustment to snug up if needed. Very good quality. Nice looking. Hidden visor flips down nicely. Really like that feature. Has comfort piece that keeps you warm in winter, remove in summer with zipper.

I have unfortunately gotten used to riding without a helmet for years. I purchased a full face helmet to take the MSF course, wore it a few times and decided I hated it. This thing stays put and I surprisingly didn’t mind having it on. Seems true to size according to size measurements and couldn’t beat the price.

Love the feel and fit! Nice adjustable feature although it feels a little to light weight to withstand a season or two

I have owned Bell helmets for over 60 years. Always a perfect fit. Lots of options to chose from. Before I bought this Bell helmet I tried a off brand, had to return it to Amazon, it didn’t fit and had a real bad smell.

This is a very good half helmet. its is very comfortable and versatile with the removable inner neck liner. Zip off the liner for warm weather and zip it back on for cooler temps. I switched to this helmet from another brand half helmet and the buffeting was cut down tremendously. It also doesnt lift off of the head like most other half helmets and causes much less neck fatigue. The helmet also has a flip down shield that can be used with glasses

Really glad I purchased this helmet. Love the hard hat style clamp on the back to keep it firmly in place. Looks great, fits great. The sun shield visor works really well. Only nit is learning how to un fasten. Seems harder to do than my HJC helmets because of the snap at the end of the loose strap. It hangs up on the D-Loops.
