Yes i purchase one tube and returned because of strong fragrance plus not enough scrub.

is the burning sensation normal?

I think this is the one that was irritating my face as well. However, the "new and fragrance free" option is one I started using recently, and there is no burning sensation. It smells and feels like putting heavy water on your face. I'm trying to decide which is more gentle on my skin--the unscented option, or Vanicream's face wash.
