So far it's working but no real saving on electric bill
I read some negative reviews so I was hesitant to buy this but after a few months it is still working. I had to adjust the temp up (124 F) because we were running low on hot water and we are in S. Florida! I'm not sure how well this heater would do in areas with real cold water coming into the tank. Beware of location as it needs a drain and it's way more noisy than the spare frig in the garage. Was it worth the extra $$, its still to soon to know, if it last 10 years then at least I broke even on it. Don't see any noticeable drop in electricity bill. If I had to do it again I would just buy a good regular heater with a 10 year warranty and save the extra $$.
