Product description says this item is 80% cotton. Just received the charcoal heather and it's 50/50. Did anyone receive a sweatshirt with 80% cotton?

Yes...80/20 but paper removable tag also says 2% recycled plastic bottles. Honestly!! Runs at least 2 sizes small but very soft fabric.

What is the width from pit to pit and the length from the top of the back neck to the bottom of an XL size?

Almost 21 inches pit to pit and 25 inches bottom to back of neck.

I'm 5'11" and 120 pounds, I was wondering if the small would be too short for me. What length is it?

more than likely to short 4 you. it depends if you have more length in your upper body or from the waist line and depending where you want the hem to land on your body. the length of the "shirt area" itself from under the arm is 15 inches after cold wash with fabric softener and air dry on hanger. this is the best I can help under the circumstances being that my body size is greatly different than yours!!! (( I'm 95 pounds and 5'0")) and that is big difference to your body build.

How long are the sweatshirts?

I am 5' tall and petite. It come down to my hips as the picture on the model indicates. Buy the size that is appropriate for you. I do find the sleeves too long, but I think that is my problem. I find the sweatshirt to be well made and washes very well. T. Molik
