Good Idea, Priced Too High.
I bought these due to the lofty promise that I could tie them once and never worry about it again. And maybe that will happen one day. For now here is what I have experienced. These laces are wide and thin. They are basically just an elastic ribbon with shoe lace aglets (plastic tips) on the ends. The aglets were slightly curved. Looking at their product pictures in various colors, it would seem this happens randomly as some laces have it and some don't.I purchased these in a size medium and small. The small was 36 inches from aglet to aglet. The medium was about 42 inches, if I recall correctly. After you lace them up and tie them, you could conceivably slip your foot out and then back into the shoe. The problem is that the laces kind of migrate a little bit and the shoe feels very different when you put it back on. Sometimes uncomfortably different....enough to call for retying the laces. The only way I was able to alleviate some of the issue was getting help from a family member. I put my foot in the shoes with the laces as loose as possible then he pulled on the laces starting near the toe and going up to the ankle until they were not loose anymore, but....he did not pull them tight either. He only tightened them enough so they lay flat against the shoe. Then he tied and retied the shoes until the tension felt right. This worked well for awhile, being essentially set to my foot in the shoe, the laces did not migrate for several times worn. But eventually they did migrate again, causing the old issues to come back. So now I just treat them as normal laces and untie and retie them when I wear or take off the shoes. Considering that in the end they did not work significantly better than traditional laces, these just end up being too much money for what you get. Especially since their seem to be several other brands offering multi-packs of 3 elastic laces for about $10.I've considered trying the Caterpy, Coolknot, and Xtenex laces next. Those may prevent the migration issues due to their special design. Unable to freely travel through the eyelet holes due to how they are made. But I'm not happy with the idea of having to spend even more money. Is elastic really worth $10 for 5 feet? I'm not so convinced.

great elastic laces
After a major cancer surgery a while back I was in the hospital for a month and unable to bend over to tie or untie my shoes. Most of the time I wear athletic running shoes, size 10.5 Hospital staff obtained some elastic laces for my shoes. Once set and tied, they could be put on and taken off with ease. I never needed to tie or untie them again. The laces were wide and flat, looking just like the laces that came on the shoes. Also, the flexibility of the laces made the shoes more comfortable. Years later I decided to put elastic laces on all 3 of my athletic shoes. I was unable to find any locally and saw the Yankz laces at Amazon. However, the sizing listed did not give actual lengths. I emailed the company before ordering. I was told that the small size is 35 inches long, the medium is 45 and the large are 50 inches long. My first order was some medium size laces. They were a bit long, but OK. They did not have black available in medium size. I needed one black, so I ordered a black in small size. It was long enough for my size 10.5 athletic shoes, but not any to spare. The laces look just like regular flat laces and I really enjoy their flexibility. I would buy them again.

Great customer service
The product is not working for me and I need to send it back. I gave them four stars because of great customer service not because of the product. What I understood from the title of the product and the pictures was that there is no tie (at least nothing visible). I got the product but clearly it has to be tied. I wrote the company and Tes from the customer service responded in lightning speed. The explanation was that the product is NEVER TIE AGAIN which means you tie them once but never have to do it again. So I looked at the product description and pictures again. Sure enough in the description you read "They stay tied thus eliminating the need for lace locks" which of course implies they have to be tied. I accept that I missed the fine print and I should have read it much more carefully. I still think the pictures and the title are misleading and I suggested that they should be changed. After a couple of very fast emails I was told to send back the product for a full refund. I appreciate the courtesy, speed of response and fairness of their customer service.

WOW
Make sure to read through the answered questions to find out the length of the sizes. For some reason, the seller is not providing the length in inches in its description. Someone else has done that though, so be sure to look for it.These converted my duck boots, combat boots and Chucks (Converse canvas high-tops) into slip-ons. (Not a slip-on like a loafer; I have to pull them on by tugging on the backs and the tongues, but they do slip on, and slip off in seconds with pressure on the back of the heel.) With the combats and duck boots I left the top three holes empty, but the Chucks I laced all the way up. I bought small laces for the Chucks, so there would only be about 2 inches of leftover lace sticking out of the top holes, which I could knot on each side of the shoe.I could kiss the inventor. They've made my life more comfortable and easier. If you don't want to bend, buy a long shoe horn.
