I actually bought the smaller blue bottle originally. It had such a positive effect on me that I wanted a larger bottle and the only one available was this extra strength so I went with this one. I honestly haven't noticed any real difference between the regular and the extra. I've been using the extra longer (I'm on my second bottle) and its been fantastic.A few years ago I had gotten in an accident. I needed surgery on my leg, and that combined with the stress, had a very negative effect on my hair. I've always had very fine, thin hair. And the hair I was brushing out daily was becoming alarming. I started to notice my hairline getting even thinner and I knew I had to do something about this. I found this product by chance on Amazon and decided to try it out. It has helped with more than just hair loss.I used to suffer from dandruff and just general build up on my scalp. It would sometimes even be painful and leave welts. My hair would be greasy and unclean looking at the end of the day, despite showering in the morning.With this shampoo, my scalp has healed. My skin feels normal and there is no longer any build up of any kind. My hair stays cleaner longer, well into the next day. And I can tell my hair has gotten thicker and I no longer pull out huge clumps of hair out of my brush.I also use a scalp massager that I found also Amazon. Another person rating this shampoo suggested it, and it really helps add to the lather and help you leave it in longer. (the bottle says about 2 minutes)I am amazed at what this has done for my quality of life. My hair feels light and clean, it looks great and it feels great. I don't think I will ever buy any other kind of shampoo. I think I have found my lifelong shampoo of choice.If you are unsure if you want to try this, maybe try the blue kind first. I had no issues with that and the extra works fantastically. I would say that I have somewhat sensitive skin, and this has given me no issues whatsoever.

Great shampoo, I will buy it again. I’ve been using it for about a month now and I definitely notice that my hair looks and feels healthier now after using it. It’s helped strengthen my hair as well, I don’t notice any loose hairs in the shower or in my hats I wear like I did prior to using it. It’s the perfect shampoo to buy if you’re looking to just maintain the hair you currently have long term. I haven’t noticed my hair looking any fuller from it though so I wouldn’t buy it if you’re expecting or wanting to see hair growth.

I have noticed that as I get older (and after my hysterectomy) that my hair has been thinning. I know it too be true as my hair clippys no longer stay in! I did the research on this product (read the Amazon reviews) and decided to go for it. I am so glad that I did - I notice new hair growing in, I am losing less hair and my hair clippys are staying in longer! IF you are on the lookout for a product to generate new growth, this is it! Plus, it smells really nice, leaves my hair soft, and is a good value - you don't need to use a lot when washing - a little bit goes a long way.

The shampoo is great. I really like it as it leaves my hair soft, manageable and looking fuller. Beware though, the scent reminds me of something musty and dirty and is so offensive to my mind, I had to stop using the product.
