OIWAS Messenger Bag for Women 15.6 Inch Laptop Crossbody Bag for Men Purple

5 year review; originally bought late 2021 for ~$23 The bag is well constructed with good zippers (tho no YKK), quality fabrics, sturdy buckles and stitching. Fits 14 inch laptop in patted section and can fit a 15.6" laptop in the main compartment, I wouldn't recommend it, but you can. Front flap has top pocket that is diagonal as the zipper shows; convenient for snacks, phone or wallet. Exterior pocket under flap has one open and one zippered good for keys, cords or other knickknacks. Water bottle holder in the main compartment is smaller and probably only fits slender bottles 12-16 oz, it has two and I tend to use one for my laptop charger. Two interior split pockets good for a mini legal pad, computer mouse or port hub. A large zippered pocket is behind that. I haven't maxed the bag out as I usually only carry a laptop, notebook(s), pens, a snack, a book, and miscellaneous computer components. I would say it's comfortable at 10L even if you can add more. The design is similar to a classic Timbuk2 bag but no ripstop, YKKs, or stability strap. A $20ish bag lasting for 5 years is money well spent. The layout of the bag is intuitive and handles everything I have thrown at it. I expect it to last another 5 years.

This bag holds everything I need for my job. I purchased a very nice computer bag, but the area's I needed were to tight to work with, so, I looked at the OIWAS Messenger Bag for women.This bag is comfortable to carry, the carrying strap is wide, and comes with a wider padding to cover the shoulder area, it has a carry handle on the top as well as the strap. It also has clips that fasten the top to the bag with velcro atachments for security. I liked the style, the size, and the compartments availability, oh and it is easy to access my computer, files, cords, pens, pencils, what ever I need. I did not see that this bag came in different colors, I would have chosen some sort of green color. But, I like purple too. I was skeptical about paying any more for another bag, until I saw the price of the OIWAS Messenger Bag for Women which fell right into my budget. I also like the craftmanship put uinto this bag, my room mate says it fits me. I know I made the right choice.

Bought this to replace a slightly smaller Timbuktu bag I'd been using for the better part of a decade. It's probably not as waterproof, but it has way more utility. It has tons of different pockets for organization, a few of which have zippers to keep specific items contained. I especially like that there's one smaller zippered pocket on the outside flap for things I want to keep more readily accessible, but I could also choose one of the many pockets just under the main flap as well. I take this thing everywhere, and because of the nice gray color I chose it goes with anything. It's packed full of the essentials, as well as other random things I carry around for one reason or another. Usually it stores: -32oz insulated water bottle -My chosen coffee vessel that day -Keys, wallet -Epipen, ballpoint pen, sharpie, field notes paper pad, small flashlight -Chapstick, ear plugs, eye drops, medications, small container of product I put in my hair, hand fan. -Cell phone charger, battery pack, kindle. -Yoyo, hacky sack (never know when I need to entertain a child or a small group/myself). -Occasionally a glass food container where I keep my lunch. Minus the food container, I have also packed all of the above plus a change of clothes for when I spend the night somewhere, or go to the gym. Or I'll put my laptop and padfolio in there for errands or meetings. I don't work in business, but I feel like this would work great for someone who does. It stores all of this quite comfortably, I haven't yet loaded it to its full capacity where I'd have to lengthen the buckle straps to keep it closed and secure. I also like that it has a carrying handle on top that is out of the way until I need to grab it, like when grabbing it from the passenger seat when I get out of my car before I put the shoulder strap on. I like that it has two vertical cup holder type pockets on either side inside the bag. I usually lay my big insulated water bottle flat on the bottom, and my coffee mug in one of those pockets. I've had issues with a few leaking in the past. I think one could fit the big water bottle, but I prefer its weight distributed along the bottom. I could probably fit a small umbrella into the other one if I wanted. One time I didn't thread the cover of my water bottle on correctly and it leaked inside the bag. I was able to pour most of the water out (so it does seem somewhat water proof) and the bag dried out within half a day. If I were to improve this bag, I wouldn't mind if it had a little more structure to it. My old bag was of a heavier waterproof vinyl fabric, this one can buckle a little in the middle at times. Not a big deal. I'd also like some loops to keep my pens and flashlight in place and right side up inside one of the pockets, but this is also a small gripe and one I might just fix myself with a little sewing and a strip of elastic. Overall I am extremely happy with my purchase, and would recommend this bag to anyone. The build quality is good and I imagine I will be able to use this bag for many years to come.

I got this bag as it beautifully fits 13" and 14" laptops without the extra space of larger bags. I wanted something that'd tightly fit my work laptop and my thin and light and this bag functions wonderfully for that. It will hold larger laptops if you use the main compartment and let it puff out a little. I've used it as my work bag for about 18 months as well as when I want to work at a coffee shop. Pros -Good value: Considering it's $25 or so, it's entirely fine for that -Thoughtful compartments: The layout of the internal and cover compartments is perfectly adequate. The internal elastic pocket catches easily on laptops which is bothersome. -Nice colors: A lot of bags are quite drab or lose their color, this one hasn't -Reflective highlights: The reflective bits are still reflective after 18 months which I appreciate as I'm often using it as a messenger bag. -Great strap: The strap, the slide that adjusts its length, and the shoulder pad on it have shown no wear. Cons: -It is in no way waterproof and barely water resistant. I can no longer use this bag in anything beyond the lightest drizzle. I don't know if it's a coating that's come off or what but I discovered to my horror after biking in the rain that all of the internal compartments were wet to the point of water beading on my laptop. -The stitching has started to come undone on the corners. The exterior corners of the bag have started to come undone. -The stitching holding the shoulder strap on is starting to fail. This feels like a "it'll fail slowly until it fails suddenly" kind of thing.

My daughter ordered this for High School and loves it! The color is lovely and it’s sturdy and large. Lots of space and pockets for everything.

Lovely bag. I got the small one, worried it was too small for a portfolio but it fits them just fine! Nice soft heathered magenta color. Good sturdy clips and velcro, nice pockets. Extremely pleased with it! Should last for years.

I wanted a messenger bag that I could use to carry on a flight as a personal bag for underneath the seat. This bag checks all the boxes, including being the right dimensions that fit American Airlines’ bag policy. I have used a larger Timbuk bag for 30 years, but it’s too big to be a personal item. This bag is well made and fits my laptop and iPad, chargers, as well as my meds, a sketchbook, and reading material. It’s a wonderful messenger bag at a fraction of the cost and it’s very stylish as well. Highly recommend for the savvy traveler.

It started out great but the lining came apart in 2 weeks so black fabric and threads spill out whenever the bag is opened. It's a cute bag though. Maybe if you're handy with a needle and thread you could add a new lining when it comes apart. Good size to fit books and laptop with no problem.

Der obere Kunstoff an der Tasche reißt ein, und das nicht mal nach zwei Monaten Tragezeit (kein Laptop oder ähnliches darin gehabt, nur Wasser, Brote für den Job). Absolut keine Kaufempfehlung. Die Qualität fast aller Produkte nimmt immer mehr ab, schön Gruß an die Umwelt.

The bag is good, but for me, it is only 3 stars since there is no zipper for the wide mouth of the bag. Whenever we put a lot of stuff in the bag, it potentially slips out. Other products always install a zipper to ensure that items inserted in the bag stay in place.
