For me Laurentiu Damir's " Price Action Breakdown: Exclusive Price Action Trading Approach to Financial Markets" was the missing link in my trading education. It was the piece of the puzzle that has eluded me throughout the first five years of my trading career. For those who aspire to Professional Trader status, this short and easy to understand book exposes you to the concept of "Market Structure," a simple and powerful concept that has dramatically changed the way I look at Price Action. Why is it that none of the top trading books I've read never mention this concept? Think of it this way. If you were a professional baker and none of your measuring instruments were labeled, do you think you'd be creating anything edible? Sure you could "eye ball" the amount of each ingredient but it would be pure luck if you turned out anything worth eating. Laurentiu's book provides you with the precision measuring instruments you need to understand Price Action. After reading this book you will understand how to judge the value of a stock, index or forex pair using Market Structure. This book gives you the tools necessary to spot the supply and demand areas so you can determine whether the Bulls or the Bears are controlling price which will make a HUGE difference when it comes to making informed trading decisions. THE CONCEPTS IN THIS BOOK ARE THE FOUNDATION FOR TRADING SUCCESS. Yes I am shouting this. This is really important stuff. As a side note, yes, some of the writing is not perfect english and requires you to reread a handful of sentences a few times. Laurentiu openly admits his first language is not english. Just be thankful that he took the time to learn enough english so he could express these VERY important concepts that will DEFINATELY make you a better trader. My hats off to you Laurentiu.

I bought this book in 2016, I don't remember how I found out about it or why I bought it. It stayed in my Kindle for over 2 years, forgotten. I was bored the other day, felt like reading about trading, and found this book. I was amazed how good it was! I never liked lagging indicators and felt the most promising way to trade is by focusing on price action. I was familiar with trendlines, support and resistance or chart patterns. The author actually explains the supply&demand logic behind them very well. He also introduces several other concepts that I was not aware of, or didn't understand well, which made price action reading a lot easier and really opened up my eyes to what I was missing so far. He states several times English is not his mother tongue but I had no trouble understanding his writing. I wish he had a website where a better version of the charts in the book would be available for download, or where there would be some kind of forum to exchange ideas and trading setups with the author and like-minded traders. I also read his free ebook (50pips in Forex), which was very good as well, and bought another one to read. My goal is to read all his ebooks. Be advised that the charts are much better on the Kindle Reader website, or even on a smartphone with a large screen, compared to my aging Kindle Paperwhite, where some charts did not render very clearly. This is a minor issue though, and as I said, you can just use the Kindle Reader website for a better experience. @Laurentiu: please write more!

Worth the read, has valid concepts and great visual examples in the book.

I'm in the communications industry by trade. I'm not wall street or financial type. But I heard about the earning potential of Forex about a year ago and I've been trying to learn how to trade it since that time. I've read 7 or 8 books attended 2 classes, tried all types of indicators, oscillators and watched at least 100 Youtube videos. The good news is I had stopped bleeding money like I was in the beginning but was not really breaking out and consistently making a profit. Most months I'd break even or a little better. I ordered this book two weeks ago it and started applying what I was learning and everything changed. This is by far the best book I've read on the subject. My profits from the first week matched the best month I ever had.... The book was short and easy to understand. One of my favorite features was after the author taught a concept he would instruct you to pause, turn on your computer and practice what you just learned on a real chart. After he introduce you to all of the important concepts he then shows you how to put it all together and formulate a strategy for entry and exit. After you complete the book you will understand how to identify a good trading setup based on price action. What is a solid entry signal and when to exit.... This book is great for anyone who would like to understand what price action is and how to use it in trading... Lastly I dont usually write reviews good or bad. But I was so impressed and excited by what I've learned from this book I just wanted to do my part to let the next person like me that is starting from scratch trying to learn how to trade know this book is the real deal and will improve you trading.

This is an excellent book that teaches you how to think of all price movements in terms of supply and demand. Flat regions (which I've heard called consolidation areas or trading regions) are really just "value areas," places where the buyer and seller agree the price is fair. Most books stop there. This book zooms in that value area and teaches you how to analyze who is dominating the trades, buyers or sellers, and how to predict how trends will change. Value areas are not always flat; they can be slanted upward or downward, and this changes your analysis. He discusses this in great detail. The book also gives a fascinating discussion about how to use time scales to make trades (need to look at bigger time scales to understand the bigger context of the scale you trade on. Then, based on that context, you can make smarter trades when you zoom in to a smaller time scale). Only beef: sometimes the grammar is a bit imperfect and makes it hard to understand. This is rarely a problem but when it occurs, you need to reread the sentence a couple of times to get it. No big deal, and since English is not the author's first language, I didn't remove a star because of this. Informative book and fast read. highly recommended.

If you are a Price Action Trader and you've had the patience to read Al Brooks' books, then you need to get this book too! Damir presents the concept of "value areas" in a beautiful way, that elegantly complements similar concepts that Al Brooks teaches. Taking the two approaches together will give you a whole new appreciation for what each of them are trying to communicate, individually. The most important thing though, is you will come away from this book with an expanded knowledge and appreciation for the fact that there really is a dynamic structure to the Price/Time relationship, that can be traded profitably. And do yourself a favor: English is not his first language. Consequently, the grammar will sound a little less-than-correct to native English speakers (no offense to Laurentiu obviously - I can't even imagine having to learn his language, to communicate concepts like this - pretty sure it would never happen in fact). I actually found the lack of grammatical perfection kind of endearing once I got used to it. If you get hung up on it you're only hurting yourself because what he has to teach in this book is really, really valuable. Get this book!!

The content of this book appears to be extremely valuable (yet to be tested); however, it is written in such a way that it is difficult to read, understand and organize the content for learning. This is detailed and challenging text to write, but it would not require so much re-reading to understand the content if the author had a professional edit of the text to increase readability. The author admits that English is not his first language and that may have contributed to many grammatically awkward sentences. Other things that would have made this an better value would be (1) making charts readable on a Kindle version of the book (i.e., text is too small to make out in some cases), (2) adding a glossary of terms and (3) compiling a condensed list of take home points or rules that summarize the content. Having said this, the Author appears to have a novel and potentially game changing knowledge of price action that I have not been exposed to in other books, blogs and video and I am excited to fully understand and attempt to practice these methods.

This isn't a basic price action book — it includes the author's original insights. It also offers flexible, general ideas that can be integrated into your own strategy. It teaches you how to trade based on market structure. I learned a lot. Thank you.

Excellent introduction to a price action trading system. Very happy to have discovered these books. Straightforward explanation without too much "fluff". Easy to apply directly into real trading. Will buy all of them.

J'ai découvert cet auteur avec grand plaisir. Je tradais beaucoup avec les indicateurs mais depuis que je pratique le Price Action depuis la découverte de ce livre, j'ai fait un bond en avant. J'approche des 80% de trades gagnants. Bien sûr j'ai acquis d'autres connaissances par ailleurs comme une stratégie optimisée au fil du temps, la maîtrise des patterns des bougies, le choix et la connaissance des actifs tradés, le respect des trends, l'utilisation des indicateurs comme confirmation.... et surtout l'exploitation des supports/résistances. Mais l'apport de ce livre concernant le Price Action a fait toute la différence. C'est ma première commentaire sur Amazon.

After getting into trading, the typical retail type of technical analysis quickly became a nuisance for me. I wanted to know why the markets move the way they do and not be subject to just some ultimately arbitrary patterns or lines on the charts hoping that they stick. I also didn't want to be at the lagging whim of indicators. So, I dived into Price Action theory. Laurentiu Damir's book provided me with new ideas, while also putting a lot of concepts I was aware of into solid context providing a full understanding of how price action moves on the charts. For anyone looking to really understand the fundamentals of why and how price moves on the charts, this is a must-read. After applying these concepts to my own trading as a scalper, the reward has been exponential. I think that is more than enough said!

Don’t be put off by the size of the book. The amount of information packed within the pages are very informative. Started off picking small scraps from whatever source I could find on Price Action trading and came across this book as a recommended read. I’ve learnt so much from the author and I would highly recommend anybody interested in this topic to pick up the book. The content covered inside the book are suitable for anyone irregardless of your level of experience.
