It’s so easy to cook a delicious meal with this wonderful saucepan. Very durable, easy to clean. Perfect for the experienced and beginner cook that normally burns a fried egg! I cook very large meals with this saucepan for 2-3 days worth of food, as I workout every week and like to eat multiple small meals each day as a part of my healthy living routine. The first one I bought was partially damaged during delivery but a replacement was sent without any hassle, without an extra fee. Cannot recommended this enough, buy it today, you won’t regret it!

After almost 40 years of daily use, I sadly had to retire my mother's enamel saucepan used solely for the purpose of boiling water and teabags for iced tea. I chose this saucepan to replace my mother's and so far, it's doing an outstanding job. Water boils quickly indicating good heat distribution, cleans easily. Do use a "mitt" or hotpad to pick it up, the handle gets warm.

Bought this to have a pan to heat milk for hot chocolate without a lot scrubbing after use to clean. This works perfectly- just follow the directions for use and clean up. Before use, wash with hot water and mild dishwashing detergent, wipe dry wit 1 teaspoon of refined oil. Use low heat to heat milk, To clean let pan cool after use before filling with hot water & detergent. Let it cool to lukewarm , then rinse and dry. Follow those directions and the pan looks clean as new.

We were looking to replace our 15yo Tefal non-stick saucepan with something healthier and durable but of the similar capacity. Came across this neat looking product and since we already had positive experience with another product by WaxonWare (frying pan) we decided to give this a try. Received quickly thanks to our Prime account. Packaging is not excessive but enough to prevent from scratched during the transit. It is definitely the winner by its looks. It’s has this deep emerald green textured sheen. It is definitely thicker and slightly heavier than our old Tefal. Which makes its heating to be more evenly distributed. It is a non-stick pan and comes with instructions how to burn it in for the first time, so it lasts longer. Just dab vegetable oil over its inner surface and heat it up for oil to absorb/react with its coating. One thing I personally didn’t like is the chemical smell when it came out of its protective cover. We even decided to boil water in it few times just to get rid of the smell. Otherwise it is one pleasant looking and cooking saucepan

I just received my Emerald 2.5 Quart Saucepan with Lid the other day and after washing it, noticed an odd chemical smell as others have mentioned. So not wanting to return it, I fried some sliced onions and threw some ketchup in there and let it simmer awhile. Later I washed the pot out again and cooked some soup in it and the pot seems fine now.

When you have arthritis and chemical sensitivities, it can be difficult to find adequate cookware. However, I am pleased to report that this brand is fabulous! Food particles don't become stuck under the rim of the lid. It cooked brown rice to perfection, it is lightweight, and beyond durable. To top it all off, it looks great. I will be buying more!

Outstanding cookware except that the metal lid handle can get very hot... go figure! Metal handles = hot

Not only is this pot the perfect size for one or two people, but its very sturdy. The handle is bolted on instead of screwed on. Therefore, it will not come loose as most handles tend to do that are screwed on. There were a few comments from other customers about the odor. Yes, the pot did have an odor at first, but I washed it with gentle, all natural soap, and the odor came right out. I suspect its the plastic packaging that encases the lid to the pot causing the odor. The green color is a "dusty" green. I'm not a fan of green, but the speckled granite creates a more subtle shade, and its actually quite nice. I love this pot so much that I'm going to order the Dutch oven too. Highly recommend!

I like this pot. Wish it was a lighter green.
