This wax provides a very nice and strong hold. It’s fairly easy to apply and easy to clean off as well. It dries pretty matte so your hair doesn’t look greasy and the hold lasts until you wash it off. It also doesn’t take much at all so this should last you a while. For the price I think this is a great product

I cannot tell you how grateful I am for Firsthand's products. I have very reactive skin and cannot use most of the commercially available soaps, shampoos, and hair products out there. Firsthand's original products worked great for me, although the fragrance caused some very minor issues. Now with the reformulation, I have absolutely no skin irritation what so ever. AND, the new essential oil fragrance is great! The Clay Pomade outperforms the vast assortment of other products I have purchased in the past. Application, hold, and finish are unmatched and washout is a breeze (with shampoo). My hair is healthier than it has been in a long time. I think the new packaging is also great. I love this company's philosophy. Everything about the "new" Firsthand is on target.

I've tried a million different hair products from typical target stylers to "top end" stuff. I recently picked this up and so far have enjoyed it, makes my hair feel fresh. It has a soft mandarin orange scent that when smelled directly was a little off-putting at first. However once emulsified and spread into the hair, it gives you VERY faint wafts of the orange smell as you move around, and it's incredibly pleasant. Packaging is also very nice, has nice weight to it and feels like a premium plastic container.

My barber recommended this 3 years ago and I’ve been a customer ever since. Best clay pomade that doesn’t give too much shine and holds very well. It comes out pretty easy with shampoo and conditioner. Smell might not be for everyone but I don’t mind it. This might be a little pricey but if you’re on the fence, it’s definitely worth a try.

I'm new to clay pomades, and really most hair products outside of hair oils. but I just got a funky haircut with a heap of layers that I wanted to emphasize. I'm not using this product to tame my hair at all. I want it a little wild. and the way that I'm using this product is giving me the results I want. I'm rubbing about a dime sized amount on the tips of my fingers, then twisting it in to the bottoms of my layers, adding a little scrunching at the end, and that's giving my new do the definition I'm looking for. okay, okay, ya'll, I'm not surprised the scent got mixed (like mostly bad tho) reviews. but I'm over here huffing my hair because it smells so darn good. I LOVE the smell. but I, personally, like earthy scents and this is like "citrus in the woods" or "flower patch in the forest" or something. de-lish. purchase, enjoy, take care :)

Best hair product I’ve ever used for fine, short hair. Textured, not greasy. Just right. Great smell and washed out easily while maintaining a strong hold. Expensive but worth it.

Vraiment pas content... Le produit est tout rétracté et sec. Il faut appuyer fort pour ramollir la pâte..... Je ne suis vraiment pas content pour un prix aussi cher.... Je vais demander un produit de remplacement ou un remboursement !

I tried this as a replacement to the much loved OUAI matte pomade, now discontinued. It is easily as good, with great hold on shoulder length hair. Very happy to have found it.

Ich habe wirklich lange gesucht, unzählige Produkte bestellt und ausprobiert. Jedes Mal hatte ich nach einer Weile das Problem, dass der Halt nachgelassen hat oder mir einzelne Haare wie Antennen abstanden. Bis ich die Firsthand Clay Pomade (in der pinken Dose) getestet habe. Dieses Zeug ist der absolute Wahnsinn. Ich habe die Pomade heute bei 33 Grad Außentemperatur draufgehabt. Die Sonne hat komplett geknallt, ich habe geschwitzt und die Frisur saß am Ende des Tages immer noch eins zu eins genau so, wie ich sie morgens in Form gestylt habe. Da wackelt nichts keine Antennen nichts, die Haare bleiben komplett in der Form. Morgens kurz in die geföhnten Haare einarbeiten fertig. Keine Politik kein Stress den restlichen Tag über. Wer eine wasserbasierte Pomade sucht, die sich abends leicht auswaschen lässt, aber tagsüber hält wie Beton (ohne die Haare zu verkleben), ist hier genau richtig. Ich bin mega zufrieden und unendlich happy, dieses Produkt gefunden zu haben. Absolute Kaufempfehlung! PS der Gesuch gefällt mir auch sehr sehr gut.
