Review: 2011 Dodge Ram Big Horn - I installed this on my Dodge Ram and I love the sound. The only annoyance with this truck + the magnaflow was when the MDS kicked in on the truck. I thought this was going to be forever, but after the burn-in period, the sound is almost completely gone. This particular magnaflow is a direct fit for the dual exhaust Ram 1500. UPDATE: I forgot to update this sooner and it's been a year now...The exhaust has been on my truck now for over 10,000 miles and the sound is amazing. The truck no longer drones when the MDS kicks in...Somehow, the burn in period helps reduce this. I have bluetooth in my truck and I've never had anyone complain about cabin noise. Keep in mind that the Ram's exhaust pipes go all the way out the back, so you will not have as much noise as if you had a turndown pipe, for example.

A: This muffler will allow you to make a single exhaust system into a dual exhaust system from the rear of the catalytic converter back.It is also a VERY GOOD replacement for factory mufflers in a single in/dual out setup.For instance, this muffler was used in the place of a factory muffler on a 2010 Dodge Ram Hemi - gives fantastic tone without being too loud.

**Q: hello, is that Muffler overall length 24 or 20 inches ? because that number part 12288 description is different on the MagnaFlow website !**

Every internet seller makes listing errors with pictures and content. The body of this muffler is 18" and 24" to the tip of the inlet and outlet. Thank you

A: I have a local dealer Mad Hatter in Fort Lauderdale Florida install dual exhaust after the muffler. They did a fantastic job.

if your looking for a fair priced replacement muffler for Chevy 6.0l that isn't gonna cost 500 dollars then this is it. Some moron had hacked off the stock muffler and tried to get glass packs to work in its place and it sounded like crap, but the truck was in good shape so I bought it. Long story short the stock muffler was long gone so this is what I bought as a solution and its working really good. It does have this nice low rumble that makes it sound just a tad bit perkier than the other 6.0's in my area.
