Lots of basic Information
Where oh where did the proof readers go ? Or did the author or authors self publish ? It's shot thru with typos but correct them as you read and you can get a lot of worthy information. I see this all the time........... proof reading must be an obsolete art. Now where's my blue pencil ?

Limited information, but ok for beginner
Electric RC has quickly blossomed into one of the largest segments of the RC market and the entry point for most new flyers. Lots of things can go wrong with RC planes including loose parts, binding servos, incorrect balance points, lack of basic flight knowledge, etc. The author does recommend that people search out an experienced instructor and the use of flight simulators. Flying RC planes can be a great activity once you get over that first learning hill and the first dozen crashes. Just getting a flight instructor to balance the plane side to side, front to back, adjust control throws, check the prop balance & thrust angle and then do a test flight to trim your plane for level flight will make a big difference in your chance of success. Many people quit after several crashes never realizing that their plane is so far out of balance and trim that even an expert could not fly it. To sum up, this is a starting point and recommended as such, but not a complete resource.

A modest suggestion
I found this E-book useful and informative. It needs a bit more careful proof reading; quite a few instances of typographical errors that would be missed by a spell checker, e.g. "you" when "your" is what is obviously intended. I would like to make a suggestion for an appendix to the book, and that is to include a list of acronyms and abbreviations with their definitions. I've been receiving the magazine of the AMA for over a year now and I find many of its articles almost unintelligible due to an absolute deluge of undefined abbreviations and acronyms. It's all very cute inside ball for the dyed in the wool geek, but very frustrating for someone trying to assess their potential interest in the hobby.

To basic
"A complete resource"? Not really. I have been out of the hobby for about 30 years and expected a lot more information, I bought the book to get some tips which motor to choose for which model, what is the weight to motor Amps ratio etc. Unfortunately there was only general talk about basic planes and Heli's that didn't really help me.This book is for the newcomer only, one that had no experience at all. The title "A complete resource" is misleading and does not give you any details as guide for building or purchase.Bit disappointing, But then for this price, I was maybe a bit naïve!

Handy Summary
It did a good job of reviewing the basics for those very new to RC.

This may be a great starting point
This may be a great starting point, but no way is this a complete resource. I kept reading but it never got there. I was looking for how to setup ESC's and wiring and its not in the book. I dose have good tips if you are just starting, but this is by no means a complete Resource.

No real substance
No real substance to this book - just the author's droning on about generalities about the sport. Maybe something a grandmother would read to find out a little about what her grandson was interested in.

Good placr to start
Fairly comprehensive without getting too esoteric. It will help with the questions you should research/ask your hobby shop owner. Enjoy and I strongly recommend joining AMA (American Modeler's) before flying in public.

A rubbish book
Very poor book. Little information ( only 4 to 5 words per line). A very very brief description of the subject. Probably written by a 12 year old for a target audience of total novices. Absolutely not " everything you need to know about flying electric RC aircraft.I sish ihad not bought this book. Ifeel i have been mislead.

electric RC aircraft.
Came promptly. But was not as technically informative as I hoped. I was after information about voltages and compatibility of components. It was too basic for my needs.

Once again another real basic starter book that only contains info that is so readily available for free on the internet. Only buy if you are a real novice.
