When the manufacturer advises you to replace these in sets, here’s why. If your device uses four batteries and they go dead, you replace all four. Likewise I have four tires. The battery went dead in one TPMS sensor I replaced it, within a week a second TPMS battery died. Wish I did them all at the same time. I have to go back and replace the other three.

Once installed, they work perfectly. Used these on a 2008 Pontiac G6, completed in two minutes using a scan tool and GM's built-in learning capabilities. No more tire warning lights and all tire pressures can be read again.

I bought 4 of these to use to replace old sensors. So far, I have replaced a sensor on one wheel and each time, the sensor has gone bad in a few months. I only have 1 remaining and it would be a waste of time to install it. The battery does not last long and it probably means they have been sitting on a shelf for years.

The product arrived faster than expected. Installation is very simple, requiring only a star wrench to separate the valve from the sensor. Very good product with great value for money. I recommend it.
