I have taken the product for years and it has brought my cholesterol down by about 50 points. I take 3 capsules at bedtime. My doctor put me on Crestor but I got joint pain with it. Of course you need to still eat a healthy diet but in combination with a low fat/saturated fat diet with plenty of fiber, this does the trick.

I started taking this Red Yeast Rice in November and in less than 3 months I got the results I wanted but didn’t think possible. I’ve been out of the normal range since 2019 and a year ago I had a total cholesterol number of 244 (high), LDL of 157 (borderline high - close to High), HDL and Triglycerides were normal. My doctor wanted to put me on an statin but I refused. I eat pretty healthy, increased my fiber, eat less red meat and more fish. I cannot tolerate Statins so I've been searching for a Red Yeast Rice that works to lower cholesterol. I have gone thru at least a half dozen brands and none of them have worked until this one. Lowered my overall cholesterol from 197 to 146, raised my HDL and lowered my LDL to be within normal range when both were out of range before using this product. Although the brand is more expensive than most of the others it is the only Red Yeast Rice that has worked for me.
