Legends of Professional Wrestling Series Action Figures: Konnan

Sculpt on the heads of all of the (unmasked - Blue Meanie and The Demon seem to be the exception) Legends figures need a LOT of work. I love the cloth goods. The figures are in scale and appear to be the molds used by Jakks for their Ruthless Aggression/Classic Superstars lines. Accessories appear to be newer or the ones from the ECW Old San Francisco Toymakers line. Some of the joints on the figures are loose. So, it seems they are made more for in package display. I also wish they’d not only start scanning heads, but expand the line to other stars of Mexico (La Parka/Psychosis,etc.) and then New Japan (Thunder Luger, Great Muta, etc.).The Shane Douglas figure was my most anticipated purchase. His head sculpt looks nothing like him, his tattoos appear to be stickers, and I’d have liked to have had a ball cap to match his promo where he “dropped/converted” the NWA title to the ECW title.The effort to match clothes and outfits is amazingly well put together.Accessories that accompany the figures could use more thought. A vacuum cleaner would’ve been perfect for New Jack. A kendo stick for Shane Douglas, a chair for Juvi, and a microphone for Konnan. But that’s just my thoughts. I hope they continue this line and make some drastic improvements to these heads. WWE Mattel has no competition right now*. The opportunity to capitalize on missing figures from collections is there. And with the amount of detail already being put in, with a little more time and effort, these lines could own the market, for the price they are going for. I mean, paying $30 per figure is a bit much for a bad head sculpt and sticker tattoos with loose joints. Come on, guys. You can do better.*Review written before AEW/Jazwares were produced.

These toys should be sold at the dollar tree. They have great licensing but everything else is poorly made.
