3094 Caravan Immobiliser, Two Pieces, Simultaneous Key Action , Yellow

These were a bit fiddly the first few times of fitting but now I know what I am doing they are a breeze to fit. I put these on mainly when we leave our caravan at the storage yard. Its an extra bit of peace of mind over and above the wheel and hitch locks we also fit. These are much better than the torpedo style locks you can also get as these stop the baddies turning the leg screw from underneath. I wouldn't just rely on these to secure your van but as an extra bit of peace of mind I think they are well worth the money. The other thing I like is that the key supplied works both locks so your not faffing about trying to pick the right key each time you use them.

Extra caravan security is always a worthwhile investment. These are good, well made locks that secure the legs in place once lowered to ground level. Milenco quality brand. If you have (like most modern vans) a 'skirt' with insert hole in for leg winder to the front legs then these would be difficult to apply and use, but can easily be fitted to the more accessible rear legs. Unlike some other leg locks that just cover the winding nut, these have a built in flange that actually secures the lock to the chassis, so the leg cannot be wound using mole grips or similar one these are fitted. Any caravan security is worth it.

Easy to fit and although they won't stop a theft, they will slow someone down. Great addition to caravan security.

Well engineered,very visible,easy to fit.There is one problem that may affect a few people who own a very old caravan,mine is 28 yrs old & fitted with an Alko chassis. The bolt heads of the steadies on the old chassis's are not metric and are slightly smaller than the newer steadies and this allows the head of the bolt to be rotated even when the locks are attached,however I've managed to make a piece of packing to fit in the extra space and this has improved the fit.Don't let this put you off buying this product as it is good value, easy to secure and fits newer Alko chassis's perfectly.

Bit flimsy but as described, good service

Die Schlösser sind sehr klein und handlich. Sie passen problemlos an meine ALKO Stützen, ein Schweißpunkt in den Rohr das auf den 6-Kant geschoben wird verhindert das man von hinten mit einer Rohrzange oder ähnlichem die Stütze einfährt. Sicher ist das alles keine 100%ige Sicherheit, aber es macht schon einen ganz vernünftigen Eindruck und ist halt für den Transport problemlos unterzubringen (oder man macht die Schlösser an die eingefahrenen Stützen, das geht natürlich auch.

Super Diebstahlschutz. Einfache Handhabung

Produit assez simple à poser. Maintenant, pas certain que cela retienne beaucoup les voleurs. À mon avis, très bien si on en place sur les 4 côtés et en complément d’un autre système

Finde die Idee zur Diebstahlsicherung sehr gut, da ich der Meinung bin, dass dezente Schutzmaßnahmen die wirkungsvolleren sind (fallen nicht auf und man kann sich nicht darauf vorbereiten). Der Preis von ca. 80€ für die beiden Sicherungen ist stolz, aber die Teile sind sehr robust und scheinen von guter Qualität zu sein. Gerade das Schloss / der Schließmechanismus macht einen raffinierten Eindruck und ist sicherlich keines der einfachen „Schlösschen“ die schon beim ersten strengen Blick aufspringen. Wie beschrieben passen sie leider nicht auf die AL-KO Premiumstützfüße - lassen sich aber dafür anpassen. Habe die Hülse abgeflext (bis zur Mitte der Durchprägung) und das ganze Blech an dem die Hülse angeschweißt ist um ca. 5 Grad nach hinten gebogen (hoffe, es lässt sich auf den Bildern erkennen). Da die Hälfte der Durchprägung noch vorhanden ist, bleibt der Verdreh-Stop der Spindel erhalten und durch die Schrägstellung klappt es auch mit dem Höhenunterschied zwischen Mutter und Blechunterkante, an dem die Arretierung angreift. Die Anpassungen lassen sich mit relativ wenig Aufwand umsetzen und der Schutzeffekt ist meiner Meinung nach relativ hoch (gestohlen werden kann trotzdem alles, aber man muss es den Leuten ja zumindest nicht auch noch leicht machen). Von daher eine Kaufempfehlung.
