Bought this to bring down temps. The good thing about my case was that I was able to apply some thermal pad the the top and bottom of the SSD with no problem and actually helped me screw the SSD down a lot fast so can’t complain. Excellent pricing for this SSD and the thickness is excellent for small enclosures or motherboard m.2 SSDs. With the amount they give you I was also able to apply some of the thermal pad to the enclosure controller and it fit in the enclosure with no gaps in the pad. Fixed the heating problems I was having. And was pretty durable when I had to reapply it compared to other thermal pad brands.
