Great little welder for small jobs
Welder works better than expected on a 110V circuit. Only used 3/32 6013 rods so far, but it works great with those for an inexpensive little home welder. Still want to try it on 220V circuit to see if it works any better. The maximum length of bead I typically need is about 6 - 8 inches.

It works real good! Did not disappoint. IT STILL WORKS 4 MONTHS LATER!
I bought this welder because the work I do (installing solar street lights) requires lots of welding. I also wanted something small and light that I could carry in car all the time. The first job I did with this welder was to fabricate 2inch iron pipes to convert them to street light poles. I did 10 poles and burned more than 20 rods none stop. The machine did not overheat or show any sign of struggle. But for best results I had to put it at max on the dial 168A. From my experience, I expect the little machine to give me many hours of good work. It has a 2 year warranty which is a long time for a $100 welder. EDIT: After 4 more months and tons of welds, the little monster still works great! I must say that the first impression of this machine is a toylike product but boy wait until you start burning rods! Within a very short time you start giving respect to the little machine. From my experience it's a high quality product with a really good price. I used it to build a 14 feet steel water tower and for 2 days I burned rods from morning to evening. Not once did I notice any fatigue or sign of overheating. This is a GREAT PURCHASE! I recommend it. Attached some photos of the work the little welder did in 2 days.

Works great.
This is an excellent low cost welder. It is constructed much better than I was led to believe. Easily welds small rods on a 110V/20A circuit with very precise current adjustment. 6013 rods a breeze to start and weld. I tack welded decades ago in a shipyard and nothing since and was doing good penetration welds with the first rod. Great for garage projects. Note that this is not sold as a true 220V welder. The adapter is a 220V welder plug connected to a standard 110V plug. ONLY ONE LEG OF THE 220V is used. This allows you to plug into to a 220V/30A circuit to get a 110V/30A circuit. Its a very clever way to get more amps as most homes have a 220V dryer either in the garage or adjacent laundry room. It allows you to use a heavy 110V extension cord you probably already have. Your dryer uses a special 220V plug so still have to adapt to the adapter. I can't speak for reliability or longevity, but if you have a critical repair to make, its certainly worth it.

mini welder better than he thought
I got this for my husband for Christmas ,,, he of course thought it was a nice thought but didn't think it would work ,,, BOY was he wrong he loves his little welder ,, says it works just as well as our thousand of dollars welders in our business that we have ( Reube's Welding & Mfg.) ,,,, this will be great to add to the camper and have a welder to use on site.... very worth the money ,,,

Great compact welder
This thing is lightweight and much easier to take up stairs lol. I initially bought it to get up in places where it's hard to drag a big welder, but I like using this thing, using it 110 is very nice and can still slap a nice weld down just make sure your breaker is at least a 30, I kept popping 20s.

Dont buy this pos.
I had a small machine like this before and it worked very well but I gave it away to my friend. I thought a machine like this would be the same. When I received it I didn't use it immediately as I was waiting for my helmet that was ordered as well. I finally used it about four weeks later. It worked fine for about five minutes with the amps cranked up to 200 because the rod was sticking. The next thing I saw was my circuit breaker popped and the machine didn't work anymore. I reset the circuit breaker and plugged it in again. The circuit breaker popped again and from then on, I knew that something was burnt and this pos was toasted. Too bad I cannot get my money back, I will keep trying.

Very small in size and works.
For $100 cant go wrong, I used it on a extension cord with 1/8" 6013 to repair a broken roiling gate track where i work and once i got the power level set was able to lay down ten one inch beads down on rusty angle to plate steel using 110 volts. The price reflects the build quality and is good for the diy person

Great little Welder
I had a problem with this little guy at first, it kept cutting out after about 3 inches of weld so I plug it into 220 outlet and the same thing happened. I than used a compressor and shot some air in the back of the little welder for about 30 seconds while it was shut off and powered it back on, that’s when I noticed the fan kicking on, this was the first time I noticed the fan running, I think the fan was stuck or something but now it welds like a hot dam, doesn't cut out anymore, the fan keeps running and welder stays cool, if you are having the same problem try blowing it down and check that the fan is on when you power up. I was using a 3/32 7018 ac and dc rod and they both worked good, the ac rod was easier to weld with it sounded a bit smoother, I also tried 7018 1/8 dc rod and that’s pretty much it’s limit, 6010 did not work for me but that’s ok, all in all great welder for the price, I hope this may help any of you that might of been having the same issues.

Compact, but a smoke show
Update: Customer support reached out to me, and replaced the welder, no questions asked. I have welded on 110v only, at around 68amp setting, and I have been able to weld, but keeping the arc lit is an art. Will update after running on 220v. Outside of return window, was sitting on my self until I needed it. Literally, I got one slight weld out of it before started tripping breakers. Now nothing, no light, no display, and immediately trips breakers. Always tests stuff within the return window, learned my lesson. It says it has a 2 year warranty, but cannot find the contact window, and the “support window” is also closed, whatever that means. Very disappointed.

Really small size
This is a remarkably small machine. After unboxing and looking at it,I thought I would have my neighbour plug it in and turn it on.He was impressed and I was satisfied with the quality and safety. After trying the thing ,I am truly impressed. It won’t build bridges but will certainly do all the small jobs which crop up.And,it comes with leads, plug adapter and carrying strap…
