Yes, it does have functional Pockets. But small things like lipsticks or Credit cards can be placed in them I wouldn't place my phone in it because the weight is too much and will pull the fabric.I ordered the Navy, it's long-sleeved, scoop neck, and reached my knees. It is a thin knit material which means you would have to wear leggings and a coat with it outside in cold weather. It does stretch.Note The First time I washed this I washed in Cold Water by itself because it might bleach on to other colors- and then wore it and got Navy Underpits...So wash it once more for good meassure with a cup of vinegar. It’s pretty and the price couldn’t be better! It’s easier to throw on a dress and you will look very nice! Why wear capris on a warm day? The material is a very nice quality which, I might say, surprised me, considering the price. It fits perfectly. I am 5’3” and about 140. It comes to the very top of my knees. I think you could dress it up or down depending on the shoes and accessories you wear with it.
