TUFFYUltimate Ring, Durable Dog Toy (Regular, Pink Leopard)

My pitty loved this toy but the sqeaker inside broke so quickly and he was able to tear it up too easily. Not tuff enough 🤷🏽‍♀️

This is the second Ultimate Tuffy Ring we have purchased for our super chewer. These toys are made very well and do last several months. We love how soft it is so we can play with our dog inside the house when it is too hot outside. There are four squeakers in this one, but they don't last very long and that is OK.Update as of 02/17/23:We still love the Tuffy toys. Since our last review, we have purchased a few more in different shapes. Please remember that this toy can and will be destroyed if it is not kept away from your super chewer. Some people giving reviews are unhappy that the Tuffy toys do not last because their dog is able to chew through them. Yes, dog parents, these toys are not indestructible! Keep them up high and away from your dog and they will last much longer. After playing fetch outside (or inside), we take the Tuffy away - in exchange for a treat - and we are able to keep the Tuffy toys on top of our fridge. We hope this helps. 😉

This lil toy is perfect for our litter of 6 week old Labs. Something about a Lab just loves stinky dirty socks…. So to make this toy more appealing to the puppies my husband rubbed his nasty feet on it, unfortunately that seemed to do the trick and now they love it. 5 stars if the scent wasn’t needed.

This isn’t their “favorite” toy, but it is regularly played with. These are dogs that quite literally tear through stuffed toys in minutes. They remove squeakers ridiculously fast. The house is often covered in the carnage of their latest conquest, and most toys wouldn’t see the light of day an hour after they get it if it weren’t for the fact that I allow them to carry the empty coverings around as if they were the skins of their prey to play tug with! That said, this toy has lasted months! The squeakers all function still, and there are no gaping holes. Perhaps it’s the fact that they can’t seem to destroy it that limits their entertainment with it, but it’s still visited and argued over daily. I have found no other toy at this price range that was even close to the longevity of this.

Our Australian Shepherd pup is an aggressive chewer, and while I was still in my phase of trying to find something semi-plush that he could chew on I gave this a try. I also wanted something fun to throw for him to catch, as he's very agile and a good jumper. As cloth-based toys go it is pretty durable, but my dog still managed to destroy it in record time. If you have a dog like this, plan on it lasting a little longer than your standard plush toy. Also, take it away from the dog before he tears it up so much that he begins to ingest it. This one must have been really delicious, because he wanted to eat it. I will probably try this toy in a year or two when his teeth aren't quite so sharp (hoping that happens).

So far this is the toughest soft toy we have purchased for our “shredder” Though it didn't last forever, it did remain intact for a couple of weeks. The stitching was good, the sound was not annoying, and the stuffing was easier to pick up.

This is the 2nd time I have purchased the TUFFY ring for Lacey. It is her favorite toy. It is sturdier than any other toy I have purchased for her. She kills the squeaker right away but can't tear up the fabric. She carries it over her face which makes everyone laugh.

How is the 5rh one I've bought. I love them . They last so long and dog loves it. Only problem is one site always sells for $8 and if course when I needed one couldn't find it until after I purchased here. So worth every penny however it is a little pricey for the size.

I have cocker spaniels. Thir most favourite passtime is to take a toy and destuff it in the shortest time possible. They also enjoy consuming rubber from rubber toys and reducing nylon bones to nubs in hours.Tuffy toys have stood the test of time, which is why they are the one and only toy I buy for my dogs these days. They are lightweight (good for throwing around the house on those rainy indoor days) and robust, and because of the many layers of stitchng they resist ripping and chewing exceptionally well.This is not to say that they CANNOT be ripped into - they can, but they take far longer than normal to do so. I bought this exact item three weeks ago and it is still whole. At the same tme we gave them another less durable toy (a gift from a friend) and it was a heap of stuffing and "WHERE IS THE SQUEAKER....." in about five mins flat. The tuffy toy is chewed but whole.If the dog does breach the toy, you CAN resew the seams and repair them, just use ultra strong thread and remove some of the stuffing (and any nearby squeakers) when you do. I have one that I have been systematically reducing in size for about a year now.Highly reccomended for the type of dog I have, although I am not sure how it would work with smaller or larger dogs. Please be assured, mine are supreme destuffers, so to get a toy that withstands them where a pair of jeans and a small carpet did not, is nothing short of a miracle.

I have recently purchased one of the Tuffy ultimate ring and two of the junior rings for my three dogs. Having read the reviews I was pretty confident that they would be a raving success. I have to say I was really disappointed. Having spent quite a lot of money on these three items, none of my dogs are really interested in them. I found the squeakers hard to locate and to make them function at all was hard work. In fact in the ultimate one, only one of the squeakers actually worked and that was really hard to get to squeak and hardly made a sound! The squeakers were not set right in the ring and were bulging out of the ring making it appear deformed and lumpy. The two junior rings were little better. Their squeakers were weak and did not function properly, certainly not how you would expect for such an expensive dog toy. They may be hard to break, I can not say as my dogs have no interest in them at all. I have tried to get them interested and they just did not want to know. Complete waste of money in my opinion and I would not recommend them to anyone from my own personal experience. Maybe I am just unlucky, I would say so if it was just one of the three had problems, but the fact all three had pretty rubbish squeakers and all three of my dogs won't play with them says a whole lot to me!!!!!!!!!!!

A really good and fun dog toy that my little rascal loves. It is about as tough as you can get although nowhere near indestrucatable but it will last my little desctuctive darling many weeks of good play. It has a variety of squeaks, can be thrown, used as a tug toy and it never fails to excite my dog when it comes out. Excellent!

My Westie loves this but only thing I would say is it is hard to get a squeak out of it, I can if I squeeze it but he can’t quite manage it!
