So far this kit has worked out perfectly for me. I purchased it so I could wire up my home security cameras with rj45 ends. This kit had everything I needed and then some. Really like the small tester it comes with and how they interlock together when not in use so you wont be able to loose them. The crimperrs work great and where just what I needed. This kit also includes 10 rj45 ends to start of with. For anyone in the networking business this kit is for u. It has everything you could need from wire strippers, screwdrivers and the tester. I would highly recommend this to anyone. My only complaint that honestly does not bother me since I probably wont ever use. Is that the punch tool has a sort of scissor type head to it but it does get the job done on the one I tried it with.

The sheathing cutter was not properly adjusted when I put it to use, and cut into the inner wire. The inner wire broke after crimping the plug onto the end... started over. I have used this kit to install CAT6 into all 3 bedrooms and test the connections. Works great!

This kit has lots of stuff but the network tester is dicey. I tried it and got mixed results on my cat 5 lines. Used a different tester and it showed I had crossed lines. Difficult to use. The other parts are okay. I've seen poor reviews of the tester but I really bought the kit for the tools that came with it. If I need to test the cables I'll get a better tester than the one that comes with this

Cable tester in this kit does not work. The front is all scratched up and with multiple 9V batteries and known good cable, this never turns on, lights up or shows any signs of life. Look elsewhere for a cable tester.
