I’ve been using this collagen for about a year now, and I love it. I’ve definitely noticed a difference in my skin, nails, and hair—they all look healthier and stronger. One of my favorite things about this product is that it contains probiotics. It really helps me stay regular, which is a big plus for me. I usually mix it with my coffee or orange juice. Even though it’s unflavored, you can still taste it a little—but it’s not a strong or unpleasant flavor, and I’m used to it by now. The only thing to keep in mind is that it can clump if it’s not mixed well. I recommend dissolving it in a small amount of water first, then adding it to your drink. Overall, I highly recommend it.

I am on my second container now. This brand was recommended to me by a friend who owns a health/fitness shop in Florida. She herself is a bodybuilder and fitness trainer. The collagen powder is tasteless, it dissolves easily in my coffee. I think it actually makes my coffee creamier. I have no side effects with this at all. I believe it has given me energy- I’m not so groggy in the morning. I see differences in the texture of my hair. I feel like it’s not shedding as much. I feel as though I have less pain in my joints. I am about to turn 60 (but look and feel in my late 40's) this year and despite all of the efforts with my skin care regime on the outside, I felt like i needed to figure out what would bring back the fullness and luster to my aging facial skin and hands from the inside out. The creams, Botox, and fillers i do just weren't cutting it anymore. I have taken collagen sourced from shellfish a couple of years ago that did seem like it helped my skin tone and quality, but i learned i was allergic to shellfish, so that was the end of that! So, i went in search of a collagen supplement made from something else. That is when I found this product. Granted, i was skeptical, but i knew how my skin looked so much fuller and brighter on the other type, so what the heck... i ordered some. After taking it for three days, i started noticing my facial tone looked brighter. After 5 days, I woke up to a much fuller looking face and my wrinkles under my eyes were less visible. This morning when i woke up, i noticed my crow's feet and smile lines had diminished as well and the skin on my hands was fuller too. I am sold... this stuff is like finding the foundation of youth. It has also helped the mild back pain i sometimes get the next morning after running, and i just found out it helps control and stabilize blood sugar... yippie! i put one scoop full in a coffee cup and add 8 oz of coffee and some cream in the morning. That's it. It dissolves smoothly and has no taste. Overall, I can't wait to see what results i have after two weeks, when it has made such a difference after only 1 week. Well worth the money and comparing it to even the stuff i saw at Costco for the same price with only 8g of protein, it is a great value! Word of advice, i just wish i would have taken before and after pics of my face. So, if you buy a can of this, do that. I think you will be amazed at the results the way i was... :-)

According to Amazon, I’ve bought this Garden of Life Collagen 7 times, probably more. I was a long time user of Vital Proteins, but found them inconsistent and they don’t always have the exact types of collagen you may need (I, II, III, IV, etc). I also found it inconsistent. Generally, for the value, Garden of Life is great and I think the company overall uses ingredients of high quality. It’s practically tasteless, unlike the Marine Vital Proteins or my last purchase of Ancient Nutrition changed taste of my coffee/ matcha that I could barely finish. This batch seems not to mix very well and be clumpy unless I am mixing it into a hot beverage. Annoying, but I will take it over bad flavor, that’s why I am leaving a 4.

I like how easy this collagen powder is to incorporate into my daily routine. The powder mixes easily into drinks and is convenient to use on a regular basis. I also appreciate the simple packaging and the fact that it doesn’t take much effort to prepare. Overall, it’s a convenient option and I’m happy with my purchase.

There truly is no taste or texture to this. To me. I add it to my morning beverage for a protein boost, and I mix it in with the oat milk in my cereal to add some protein there. Be advised: It will not assist with curbing blood sugar, apparently, because it is not a complete protein and therefore won't register. I only found this out recently! So, do as the packaging says and don't use it for that purpose. But my nails, hair, etc seem healthy. No complaints. I've been using this most days for a couple years now. I'm most concerned about my joints, as an athlete/someone who enjoys being active. Hopefully it's helping those!

I am a smaller person so only taking half scoops ~ 10g per drink 1. dissolubility - barely okay: clumps in room temp water; will dissolve in hot coffee but require rigorous mixing. 2. taste - everyone is different; if you are a super taster like me, you will taste it in coffee as well; taste like cow hide; tolerable but not pleasant 3. efficacy - unknown, but will not re-order unless clear results with this bottle

I like that they have the ones that are neutral in taste and I don’t taste anything when I add it to my smoothies. And the fact that it’s 20 grams of protein for every scoop makes it a good choice.
