The price is nice but the straps do not hold up to a 5 year-old kindergartener's light use
I bought this backpack for my 5 year-old son, who is only in half day kindergarten. He only carries a folder, a water bottle, and a small change of clothing in this bag. I had to request a replacement after 1 week of very light duty use due to the shoulder strap coming apart at the top seam where it meets the top of the bag. The replacement process was very easy and fast. He has been using the replacement bag for less than 2 weeks and we have the same problem. I am going to send this one back and buy a more expensive one elsewhere.I bought my 15 year old high school freshman a more expensive one. He carries over 30 lbs in his daily and it has held up tremendously well, without a single issue.
