I love this coffee! I found it while visiting in Colorado and loved the taste. I have a bladder condition (IC) and regular coffee is too acidic for me to drink. I can have several cups of this coffee a day with no problems. My husband loves to drink coffee all day so he can drink this coffee all day with no acid reflux. I love this so much I have it on automatic shipment. The best tasting coffee with a great aroma.

My dad who is going through Chemo needed a natural, low acid coffee because regular store bought coffee was not sitting well in his stomach. This puroast low-acid coffee is just what he needed. He says the taste is not perfect, but that could also be because of his chemo.Was a little concerned about the packaging. Most coffee packs I have bought are vacuum sealed, this one was either not vacuum sealed or a leak occurred in shipping. Have never bought from them before so I do not know if this is how their coffee normally comes or not. Either way, the coffee was still fresh enough.

I have to agree with the others who stated that Puroast doesn't taste like coffee. I was looking for a low acid coffee and saw that the reviews were mixed on Puroast. I've tried a few other brands but they all suffered from lack of flavor. I decided to take a chance and purchased the Organic House Blend Medium Roast Ground coffee package. Upon opening it I noticed right away it did not have that nice coffee aroma that you would expect. It smelled different. Almost dusty. Not pleasing at all. I brewed a cup and found it to be somewhere between instant coffee crystals and a cheap coffee drip filter you'd get in a roadside motel. It was really bad. So it looks like I'm back in the hunt for a good tasting low acid coffee. Luckily I only ordered the small $14 package since this coffee is non-returnable. If you've never had Puroast before, don't buy any of the expensive packages. Might be a costly mistake. Now I'll have to find another use for my Puroast coffee since I can't drink it and I can't send it back. Maybe dump it in my flower beds?

Love this coffee! Great taste compared to Folgers Gentle on the Stomach. Definitely helps me enjoy coffee again with my acid reflux.

I believe there was a possibility the wrong flavor was put in the package i received. This coffee tasted different than the coffee i have been purchasing for some time from Puroast. It had a hint of vanilla??? to it. I ordered the house blend. Other persons in my family commented on is different taste. Because we have liked the taste and the low acid we will try again, but it was a bit disappointing.

I had a mild case of c diff which resolved, but post infectious ibs and a burning in my stomach, particularly when I drank coffee or consumed acidic things, plagued me for several months after my infection resolved. This coffee and cold brew coffee, only one cup a day, were the only ones I could tolerate without having burning in my stomach. As a coffee lover I’m glad I didn’t have to give up coffee for several months and had this easily accessible to me. This also tastes good and is organic. I feel this flavor is much better than the bourbon flavor as well as the French roast. I still buy it even though my gut is a lot better because it’s very good coffee and I prefer to still take it easier on my stomach, even though I can tolerate regular coffee without getting any burning now.

I am a former Starbucks barista ( this is not a knock on their coffee) After many years of working there and drinking only their coffee, many times a day, I found that I started having stomach issues. A lot of heartburn, that even turned into a bought of gastritis and I thought I was having a heart attack. I quit coffee all together and started drinking tea at half the strength then went to herbal coffee (although it is great, it doesn't have that full bodied flavor) I do not need the caffeine so to say so it wasn't that, I just love coffee! So I would often take a stomach acid reducer so I could drink it. Well I will say, I have now gone through an entire bag of this, I only use a bit of half and half, and I can drink this, on an empty stomach with no problem. it's amazing! I have not had any issues with acid reflux or heartburn while drinking this coffee. The coffee has great flavor, very full bodied and does not make me jittery, or give me headaches, and if may say, makes me feel pretty good. I am now making this my regular coffee.
