Good
Very yummy. I use two bags for a stronger flavor and to help wake me up. I am a typical caffeine drinker so this wasn’t very strong for me but did the trick to wake me up after a cup. I usually will drink coffee after but not always. Either way it’s a nice drink!

I can tell this tea has roasted brown rice in it. However, it is NOT AS GOOD as the original YamaMotoYAMA, which was originally Green Tea with Roasted Brown Rice. Now there is only Green Tea with roasted (white) rice. Absolutely not the SAME! If you like roasted Brown Rice, you will not like this YamaMotoYAMA. GENMAICHA IS Good, Not Great.

My wife liked the Yamamotoyama Genmai-cha Green Tea with Roasted Brown Rice, 1.69-Ounce Boxes (Pack of 12) green tea with roasted brown rice & asked me to order more. While I was shopping, I found the same type of tea from Eden. The Eden tea appealed to me because it was organic, got great reviews, and was more expensive than the Yamamotoyama brand, so I assumed it was better quality. When I got the tea, I made a cup of each at the same time to compare. I was surprised to see that the less expensive Yamamotoyama was a little darker, and the roasted brown rice flavor was stronger. I realize the roasted brown rice green tea is considered inferior, but if you like that taste, I think more of it is better. I think the reason for the difference is that, the Yamamotoyama had about twice as much tea in the bag as the Eden. I'll try to post some pictures.

My Favorite Tea
I love the no caffeine, nutty flavor of this tea. i have been drinking it for over twenty years. Green tea with roasted rice makes fully bodied tea. No calories, no caffeine.

nice taste
authentic macha taste of burnt rice, very healthy and reminds you of being in the snowy mountains of japan while in a hot tub ( if you have ever been there.) very good first thing in the morning.

This Genmaicha Green Tea with Brown Rice taste fantastic - beautiful aroma when drinking. Great alternative for those who want drink green tea but are not so keen on the taste. I love it! Each individual bag contain 29grams of tea, which is more than the usual green tea bags, which does mean you could leave the tea bag in your cup and top up the hot water water without losing too much taste! Lovely taste, great for drinking throughout the day and only wish they sold more than 16 bags in a box! My only negative (and the 0.5 drop in the rating) is the £1.99 delivery charge. Bit steep for my liking as other sellers offer free delivery.
