I bought these speaker cables to compliment my Dali Oberón 5 Floor standing speakers and Yamaha RX-V685 reciever.I had some trouble connecting the banana plugs to the receiver until I discovered that you need to remove the plastic caps from the speaker sockets at the back of the Yamaha Receiver to connect the bannana Plugs. You can do this using a very thin screwdriver. There are lots of videos about this online.In order to connect to the speakers you also need to push the banana plugs in hard to the binding posts at the back of the Dali Oberón 5 speakers. I actually originally connected them to the speakers incorrectly. This caused sybalant distortion in the sound. I soon realized that something was wrong.You just need to push them in hard to the binding posts at the back of the Dali Oberón 5 speakers for them to fit. There is no information about this online or in the dali website. I guess for the “learnered” this is obvious. In my case I learned the hard way.In terms of sound quality I am really blown away. Beautiful velvet rounded base lines and delicate smooth highs. All my Music collection is in FLAC format which makes all the difference.As a sound engineer I record music for living and highly recommend this speaker cable
