Review: Awesome product from wholesome people - I was in between these and thule ski racks. Yakima’s were half the price and seemed pretty good for my needs. I got them, installation was a breeze, use even more practical, fits 2 sets of skis easily. I loved them for a month then went into a car accident where I lost the keys. The racks were absolutely fine (they endured a car accident where the car was totaled) so I installed them to a new car. I realized the keys were lost and reached out to the company to see if they can send second pair of keys. Within 3 days I received my additional keys. They didn’t have to provide that yet they still did, lovely people really.
Review: Can mount to Xterra OEM crossbars! - Needed a rack that would mount to Nissan Xterra OEM crossbars - you know, the ones that are unnecessarily wide. This one did! With the adjustable clamp set at it's widest setting. Another name-brand rack with flexible rubber straps that I had previously purchased and subsequently returned were not long enough. Install was easy, clamped tight and held skis secure. Some wind-noise at 70-75 mph as the design isn't as aerodynamic as others, but just a minor annoyance. I would recommend.

**Q: What prevents a thief from just removing the rack from the car with your skis in them?**
A: It takes some time to remove the ski rack. Someone mentioned a security screw but mine did not have them. However, its just not that quick to remove and unless your leaving them in the system overnight you wouldnt have anything to worry about. The risk reward is just too low to spend 15-20 minutes trying to remove a ski rack that you are unfamiliar with for a bunch of used ski/snowboard equipment.

**Q: Will this fit a Thule square bar?**
A: Will it fit 41/2 cross bar

**Q: Does this rack work for high speeds? Taking a road trip and will be traveling highway speeds?**
A: Yes. I fastened them onto my crossbar racks and drove interstate highways most of the way with 5 pairs of skis. No issues. Great rack!

**Q: Can specify the lock numbers I want i.e. I want a141 cores?**
A: I dont think so.

Needed a rack that would mount to Nissan Xterra OEM crossbars - you know, the ones that are unnecessarily wide. This one did! With the adjustable clamp set at it's widest setting. I like this product. I've been trying to find a cheaper but liable product to hold my fishing pools. This has been the answer to the problem I've had it can hold 7 rods easily and no damage to them, not only that it's high enough on the top of my van that the reel never hits the roof even on rough roads. I also like the fact it can lock them down snug so the will not slide around. One last thing it can be locked with a key so if I go in a store I don't have to worry on my rods being stolen,however the reels is another story but they are snagged tight on the reel so maybe no one will steal them.
