It burns a little but the burning doesn't last long. Because it is a 10% peel you have to use it in several applications to get the desired results. The peeling wasn't bad though it was good enough for me to go to work and not worry about my skin. You have to use a moisturizer though or you will look like you have ashy skin. I forgot to moisturize one day and I didn't look great.
