Monin - Spiced Brown Sugar Syrup, Sweet With Hints of Cinnamon, Natural Flavors, Great for Coffee, Desserts, Ciders, and Cocktails, Non-GMO, Gluten-Free (750 ml)

This review is for the cinnamon brown sugar syrup: I was looking for something that would be a great dupe to Starbucks brown sugar syrup. I’m doing sugar free now so I decided to try this as I went to a boutique coffee shop and noticed they used this brand. It had a slight cinnamon flavor but mostly I tasted brown sugar. It’s decent and I would probably buy this again.

I was looking for a good alternative to the Starbucks brown sugar syrup for my matchas, and while this is not comparable, it is SO delicious. I make sure I measure to the serving size on the back of the bottle or even a little less and it’s perfect for a normal sized matcha (about 8-10 ounces) If you’re looking for a lower sugar alternative, but still sweet combo, try half a serving size of the brown sugar syrup and two pumps of Davinci sugar free French vanilla(another great find!)

Not Amazon but manufacturer issue, I ordered 3 different flavors and all are at different levels. The seal is intact on all. This flavor, however was the lowest level for whatever reason. Never came across this with Torani but I wanted to give Monin a try. Flavor is great, pretty glass bottle. But I the lack of consistency in bottle filling leaves me shorted like 3 pumps (1 iced coffee) short

Perfect tweak to an smoked Old Fashioned cocktail!

I know it's "spiced' brown sugar but I tastes like I dumped a whole bottle of pumpkin pie spice in my coffee with a shot of rum. Not for me.

I was really excited to try the spiced brown sugar but the taste was horrible, it smells like febreze or air freshener and it has chemical taste. I also ordered the raspberry so we will see about that one

I’m a huge fan of cookie butter from Trader Joe’s so when a friend sent me a “secret-menu” item from Starbucks that tasted just like it, I was sprinting to the store (iced chai with oatmilk and brown sugar syrup) The drink tasted EXACTLY like cookie butter/biscoff cookies, but, much to my dismay, it was over $6 (typical starbs) So I came to Amazon to find something that would hopefully give me about half of the same flavor so I could kick the craving when it came. I ended up buying this and the other top brand (starts with a T) to compare. Mixed this with Tazo Chai Concentrate and got the SAME TASTE as the Starbucks one!! I’m sure it’s saved me hundreds at this point

Clean syrup bottles and packaged so well

This brown sugar syrup is seems to be high in sugar than usual. I tried make Grande Brown Sugar Oat Americano with it, adding exact amount of brown sugar syrup as Starbucks, espresso and the ingredients. It is a lot sweeter than I had at Starbucks. It sucks Starbucks do not sell a container of brown sugar syrup.

I thought I would add a couple more syrups to my home café and I was looking for something like a brown sugar syrup. Most brown sugar syrup recipes contain cinnamon so I was not worried about the "spice", until I tried it and ALL I could taste was very powerful, very christmassy cinnamon. Bottle is made out of glass, that adds one star to this review, but my very standard pumps that fit into every other syrup I've ever bought, don't work on this glass Monin bottle.
