Another great book from Swamiji. For someone like me trying to start a regular sadhana, I would use this as my go-to guide instead of the The Ancient Science of Mantras. That book has every detail an aspirant needs to know on the path of mantra yoga, but was very intimidating for someone like me who never ever travelled that path. I was very happy to see the short procedure mentioned in this book. Like always the real life incidents Swamiji mentions makes the path achievable & doable for a beginner.Swamiji keeps saying he has struggled too & only then got here. However, it feels like he is more of an extremely powerful energy belonging to another dimension itself.Swamiji, thank you so very much for all these books, discourses, black lotus app & everything else you are doing for us.

I have been doing Gayatri Sadhana as instructed by Swamiji for 4 months now. It works. The steps he has given are so thorough and will definitely bring results if you do them properly. The book is a great addition to The Ancient Science of Mantras and I strongly recommend it to anyone who is interested in Gayatri Sadhana. This book is perfectly suited for the fans of Gayatri Sadhana. The author has drastically simplified the austerities. I enjoyed reading it, especially the initial story.

I go to a temple very often and have joined aarti many times and have attended many pujas at my friends and relatives but never understood all those puja steps, this book has made crystal clear those steps.Thank you Swami Ji.

Must read for all spiritual aspirants. It shares more than just Gayathri mantra. The knowledge applies to all mantras and chanting.

In all fairness, this is a well-written work and for some it will be exactly what they are seeking. The author approaches the Gayatri mantra from the perspective of Tantra (in my opinion, at least; I am fairly well-read in Eastern religious practice and philosophy), and there is the usual (for Tantric practice) elaborate ritual, the use of mudras, etc., all with the goal of achieving siddhis, or paranormal powers.I just wanted to learn the Gayatri mantra for centering and spiritual growth; I don't intend to use ritual objects and mudras. So about half way into the book I realized I really didn't care to finish it. Others, such as those into Tantra or Kundalini yoga, will probably love the book.

This is a gift to anyone wishing to partake in mantra sadhana.There is, in depth instructions on how when and where to practice mantra, so that one can benefitFrom the mantra and gain palpable results.Thank you OM Swami. He has illustrated the steps and asks us to the best ways to follow. He repeatedly tells us about how important it is to get absorbed by it and u should be incessantly chanting it with full awareness.Remains silence about people who has already heard the Gayatri mantra from guru during “ brathamandha” ceremony which Brahmin kids do while they are kids. Do they still follow all steps?
